I love the gameplay! Destroy the city with disasters. The weird news reports and weather channel menus are just icing on the cake. The whole thing is super weird but I absolutely love it. https://youtu.be/ey9mq-_i-Tw
Kill Everyone.
Definitely in early access for a reason. At this point the timed levels feel too puzzley, and the growth-capped levels feel too time-critical even at the first growth rate. The largest difficulty comes from unpredictable level generation placing requirements on buildings too close to each other. That being said, the concept is fun, and the gameplay is functional. This is a working game with simple assets, simple animations, and simple implementations of its mechanics. While I'd only recommend it half-off right now, I look forward to seeing it grow, and hopefully I'll be able to update this review as the game is fleshed out. Ed: cutscene skips were added, I removed that note from the review.
i love this game but i wish that cars would actaly drive on the roads and that there where more didasters, also when you go in to sandbox it just goes to a blue screen.
I would definitely recommend this game! The game is in Early Access and includes many fun features and is also actively being worked on and updated. There are loads of levels where you can smash cities using strategy to get as many stars (the in-game currency) as you can to unlock upgrades, including more disasters. You can also enter a Sandbox mode where you can smash cities to your hearts content and you can even create the landscape and even your own cities! There are also some other gameplay options such as Arcade Mode and Daily Challenges, and the game is very creatively made, to represent news reports and weather reports. This game is also on mobile! I have only been playing this game for three days on my phone and PC, so it is possible that there are even more features that I have missed, but so far, I have found this to be my new favourite game! If you have ever played 'Cities: Skylines' and you enjoy destroying your city with natural disasters, then this game is 100% for you! Also be sure to check out the creator's other games like 'Voyager: Grand Tour' and the upcoming sequel, 'Voyager 2'. These are space games, so if you are interested in space then check out those epic games!
Simple idea, fun execution. Fire tornados are dope af.
