About
Unite a Continent
The Rail Road Union has tasked you with an impossible feat: forging a path from the bustling East to the golden West. In this deep city builder simulation, you are the architect of progress. Lay tracks across treacherous terrain, establish vital trade routes, and transform isolated outposts into thriving hubs of civilization. The frontier is vast, but your ambition must be greater.
From Raw Earth to Iron Rails
Expansion requires more than just a blueprint; it demands a powerhouse of industry.
Harvest: Scout the wilderness to extract timber, stone, and precious ores.
Refine: Build complex production chains to turn raw materials into high-value trade goods and construction supplies.
Trade: Manage a dynamic economy where every resource can be sold for profit or used to fuel your westward expansion.
Procedurally Generated: Every game is uniquely generated, forcing you to adapt your resource chains and rail routes to the terrain. From the placement of mountain passes to the temperament of local villages
The Human Frontier
The West is already home to those who might not welcome the noise of progress. To succeed, you must master the art of negotiation. Every town leader and settler has a unique personality and a breaking point. You aren't just building stations you’re earning trust. Solve local crises, provide essential goods, and convince skeptical mayors that the railroad is their future, not their downfall.
Trade the market
Union of Rival features a feature rich simulated market that reacts to world events for all produced goods.

Tutorial is a joke. Very unbalanced. Way over priced.
For you its most important to understand, that this is not a classic railwaystem builder game. This more like the very old railroad pioneer game. You building and managing cities and the end of the track while trying to extend the track over the map. The game is explaining the mechanics not good enough, but you will work it out. But at this state, i dont manage the workers diying, hunger, food, fuel, Loop. You can get very early in a circle of death loop i dt manage to get out. I hope they work on the balance. Is it good or bad? - For the general public: The game is a bit to clunky and not balanced. - For railway fans its short before good enough. With 25€ absolutely to expensive (i hear the dev crying, while he read this and remember years of working on it). So i give it a "not now" because i dt manage to play and win although the first map.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, I have to agree with the recent comments. There is something fundamentally wrong with the way this game is structured. Even if you try to follow the tutorial, you still end up going bankrupt. On top of that, there are basic aspects—such as hiring staff—that aren't even mentioned or demonstrated in the basic tutorial. You have to figure it out by guesswork, just like a hundred other things in this game. The game has potential, but it’s not there yet (Not at that price – anyway).
Takes some learning, but a good game overall!
Super cool systems and gameplay, I'm really enjoying it! It's a city builder, an economic sim, has dynamic story events that occur to the town citizens that can lead to feuds and murder as well as politics and competition. It's already a lot of fun and the roadmap looks like it's only going to get better and better. I definitely recommend!
Not bad game, lots of options to play with. love the wild west concept.
This game has great potential, but more than anything it is very well playable in EA state. I understand the negative reviews, but really what it boils down to is that the game is hard. It is a heavy micromanagement game and very unforgiving. I've restarted multiple times because one mistake cost me the town. That's fine if you want a challenge, and I do. So well done devs. New concept. Interesting and fun. Keep going.
Game has potential but its incredibly unbalanced. 1 Bandit camp spawn next to your base, which isnt supposed to happen and they wipe out your people. Your undertakers cant bury people fast enough, sickness spreads, constantly kills your people off which leaves more bodies until you bottleneck with sickness that can't be recovered. 2/10 in its current state but can be fixed.
