Undusted: Letters from the Past

Undusted is a fantastic, though short, narrative story told through dusty off old memories in the form of objects. Telling a beautiful but heartbreaking story of loss and mistakenly thinking you have forever to reconcile. As well as the fact that sometimes parents miscommunicate and children lash out. If I a nickel for everytime a short narrative story told through cleaning/fixing items relating to ones story made me cry.... I'd have 2 nickels but it's a bit odd it happened twice. Because this story did make me cry. I'm a mom. I find myself often wondering "Am I doing the right thing?", "Am I being too harsh?", "Where is the line between encouragement and being realistic?". Parenting is hard. Really hard. You don't always do the right thing and sometimes you might do something you can't take back. I'm scared all the time that I might someday do or say something that I can't take back. I do my best everyday to never find myself in that position. I strive to always do right by my kid. I think every parent does. But as this story illustrates... parents don't always know best. So the story tugs at heartstrings I feel, especially if you are a parent. But I know it could also do that for kids as well who have found themselves in a similar position as our main character Adora. It also does a good job, though vaugely, at discussing the complexities of grief and how sometimes people will say or do ♥♥♥♥ they don't mean when in pain. It is, once again, a truly touching and heartbreaking story of loss. In multiple ways. The art is beautiful and the gameplay is simple. You have 16 objects that you clean using various cleaning tools. Each item tells a story. Not just through dialogue but also sometimes through the condition of the item. A pocket watch with a crack in it. A broken tea cup. Sometimes the item tells the story without the need for words. The cleaning is easy, though items do get more difficult. The more intricate the item the harder it is to get into all the crevices. But the entire process is still relaxing. There are also little easter eggs each level that attach to an achievement. The whole thing is very relaxing and satisfying. And while the story can be finished in about 2 hours. There are achievements that you can go back through and get that will add some more playtime. I highly suggest this game if you want a quick game to play that will give ya a good sad. Though if you're worried about the playtime to money spent ratio, grab it on sale. 喜歡本作的玩法和美術風格。故事屬於有點遺憾感的溫馨小品，不算有創意，但符合原先預期的調性。 作為曾有過夢想的社畜，能理解女主、同時也理解女主父母的思考，中途就開始分神回憶起自己的人生了QwQ (遊玩時數中大約有半小時以上都在分神www) 唯一缺點是關卡實在太少了!!! 若除去我分心的時間，實際遊玩時長僅有2小時左右吧..... 以售價而言有點不划算，建議打折再入手。 --------------以下涉及劇透---------- 在評論區看到以為劇情說女主父母無故離婚才給的負評.....那個，女主的爸爸是過世了，不是離婚啦XD||| 可能文本寫得比較含蓄，有些玩家字又看得太快才引發這種誤會? 是爸爸先過世 (劇情沒交代原因，但從他隨身懷錶上的裂痕推測可能是因為意外) 媽媽因此消沉，埋首於工作。女主當時認為是母親太難過才拼命工作麻痺自己。但我就一個成年人的觀點來看，成為單親家庭後必須獨自扶養女兒，應該也是母親工作負擔加重的原因。而且父親以前是會計師，又是雙薪家庭，收入應該挺不錯。為了讓女兒維持原本的優渥生活不必出去打工，母親才拼命加班的吧。 然而沒想到女兒為了夢想依然跑去兼差打工，母女關係疏遠。女主負氣到外地讀大學後母親再病逝。

спокойная игра об очистке старых предметов, каждый из которых ассоциируется с чем-то важным и трогательным в жизни главной героини. в первую очередь, с ее семьей, которую она, к сожалению, потеряла. флешбэки и диалоги позволяют узнать больше о разных периодах жизни девушки Адоры, ее интересах, отношениях с родителями. больше всего мне понравился уровень с плюшевым котиком, с удовольствием бы прошла его еще раз!! из минусов: раздражало то, что часто до завершения уровня оставался буквально один несчастный пиксель, которого нельзя было увидеть с помощью подсказки и приходилось долго и муторно его искать методом тыка

[h3] 非常に丁寧に作られたミニマルお掃除ゲーム [/h3] デモ版をプレイしずっと楽しみにしていた本作。 クオリティについては素晴らしいの一言です。 ただ、楽しみにしていただけに、そして通常時の値段で買っただけに、ボリューム不足は正直感じてしまった。 ２時間弱（当時のメモを見たら104分）でクリア。（全実績解除はしていないけど、全てのアイテムを100％掃除） とはいえ、グラフィック、音作り、操作性、全て圧倒的に素晴らしいです。 特に音作りは圧巻。とてもとても丁寧につくられています。掃除するものの素材や掃除用具によって音が変わるのが大変気持ちいい。 ストーリーはつらい気持ちになりますが、総じて優しくていい話で、こちらも良かったです。ただボリューム不足とあいまって、主人公の造形やお話しのいろいろに、もう少し踏み込んで描いて欲しかったなという気持ちはある。 日本語訳もありますし、良質です。感謝。 多くのお掃除ゲームと違って、扱うものが小さくミニマルだからこそ、よりまったり・チルです。あれ？どこの掃除したんだっけ？みたいにならないのでミニマルなのがゲームの雰囲気にも合っててとても良い。 掃除もしやすく操作性も申し分ありません。100％掃除を目指すとなかなか挫けそうになるようなわかりにくい汚れもあるのですが、ヒントもあるので根気強くやれば大丈夫。（他のお掃除ゲームと比べて100％クリアはシビアな方かな～とは思います） とにかく丁寧なつくりなので、ボリューム不足もやむなし……やむなし……とのみこみたい気持ちと、良かったからこそもう少しプレイしたかったよ～（お値段的にも……）という気持ちと。

This game has a very simple gameplay loop. It it not far removed from being a visual novel. Unfortunately, the actual story is...bad. It's the same fairly generic 'processing trauma about a bad mother/daughter relationship' you've seen everywhere. Took less than 2 hours to beat, and by the 45 minute mark I was timing it.

Un petit jeu simple, avec une histoire triste mais belle.

It is really sad and deep game - I do recommend to play it if you are in good mental health tho. Cleaning mechanics could be a little bit better, but it wasn't frustrating. Overall - nice, short, but really really sad game (like, whole aesthetics suggest cosy/cute/cheerful - but for me it is totally opposite).

Cleaning portion of game was super fun, few small issues with getting spots covered by moving items. Story was not great nor was the delivery. Overall the story just tells you the facts of what happened over and over again like the player is not paying attention, kinda just ruining any immersion on my end as I am reminded of the same fact over and over again. I think the objects should have been allowed to tell the story themselves with little or no dialogue, having each item sandwiched between dialogue telling you why its important took away of the significance or any real 'discoveries' on the players part. I.E. the family photo, I don't think we should have been told point blank that 'the dad sneakily made bunny ears behind me in the photo, so he didn't give up on the idea of having animal themed photo'. could maybe become a passing comment on how she laughed at the bunny ears being included. It gets the same message across.

진짜 최고의 청소 게임! 적어도 3D 멀미가 있는 제게는 정말 좋았어요. 웬만한 게임들은 1인칭 시점으로 여기저기 돌아다니면서 청소를 하는데 이 게임 같은 경우 절대 그런 경우도 없고 오직 물건들만 움직여서 전혀 그런걸 느끼지 못했어요. 물건들도 복셀?느낌이어서 입체적인 느낌과 도트 특유의 느낌을 동시에 받아서 좋았고요. 그리고 청소 도구가 많거나 청소하는 방법이 복잡하지 않아서 저처럼 손이 무딘 분들한테 좋을 것 같아요! 무엇보다 게임 스토리가 감동적이어서 청소하는 과정이 단순 반복 노동이 아니라 감정을 되새기는 것 같아 특히나 좋았습니다. 앞으로도 이런 게임을 자주 보고 싶네요. 만약 이 게임과 비슷한 게임을 제작한다고 한다면 구입해서 플레이하고 싶을 정도예요!

Una historia muy triste pero que ayuda al espectador a conectar con el personaje. Me encanto todos los niveles, cada vez que iba avanzando deseaba que no termine, porque realmente me encanto cada uno de sus capítulos. Ojala que puedan seguir haciendo juegos tan bonitos como este, que tengan una historia profunda, que nos desconecten con la realidad
