Undusted: Letters from the Past

This game was magical to play. If you are a gamer who enjoys a cozy cleaning game, this one is for you. I don't know how to even begin describing the captivation this game holds. Personally I have a headache trying to find a game single player that doesn't bore me after 15mins. This game completely captivated my attention and held it all the way through. Lets start off with story aspect to begin this long rant. I went in not even thinking of a story concept as most cleaning games I have found the story isn't very captivating. Every new piece of information held me on the edge waiting to learn more. Final chapter absolutely did not disappoint. Story was deeply endearing and definitely a open the floodgates at the end. Adored pacing of dialog; you could go at your own pace even walk away and it wouldn't skip dialog until you were ready. Art work was phenomenal in the characters dialog all the way to the pixel art cleaning. No idea how they did it but the glass work they did by far was so gorgeous. Game completely captured my attention when they presented the gimmick of using the cleaning items. It was game changer messing around with what each one could do. To boast on top of that the hint button; when I acknowledged the button I didn't think I would use it. Hint button was beautiful it didn't give a hint where dirt was located, it still made you have to find dust/dirt. The hint button is something I require in so many more games because it truly is that good. It high lighted exactly what was needed and left out everything else, found no issues when using it. As a gamer who enjoys completing games to perfection the hint button was like my best friend with the small details. A few other cleaning games I have interacted with has always been one issue I come back to. Cleaning everything off the item; games don't allow you to clean it completely which is saddening for those who enjoy cleaning all of it. Let me state this game gives you the ability to completely clean to the last pixel of dust and I couldn't ask for better. There is an option for those who do rather enjoy the story or not want to clean it all. Each their own and this game rocks in making sure everyone gets what they want. Found this game by pure accident, decided summer sale why not try it out. Never looking back, has definitely entered one of my top favorite cute cozy short games. Will be recommending this to so many people and plan on getting all achievements for this wonderful game.

The only thing I'd change in this game would be to make it longer! It was too short, but I enjoyed it very much, thank you!

[spoiler] Annenin bakış açısından olan anlatım zayıf kalmış, oldubittiye getirilmiş. Başrol kız olsa da hikayeyi asıl derinleştiren annesiyle çekişmeleri aslında. Kızımla 6 yıl görüşmesem ve ona bir mektup yazacak olsam "Ne yaparsan yap arkandayım" gibi çok klişe ve kısacık bir mektup yazmazdım. Ebeveynlerimize artık bir şey sorma fırsatımızın olmadığı zamanlarda ihtiyacımız olan şey sağda solda duyabileceğimiz motivasyon cümlelerini onların sesinden duymak değil. Doğru mu yapıyorum? Gerçekten doğru yolda olup olmadığını nasıl bilebilirim? Sen olsan ne yapardın? Yaptıysan pişman mısın? gibi sorulardır aslında. Kızının başka bir konuda kendisinin gençken sahip olduğu hevese sahip oluşu onu pişmanlığa mı sürükledi? Bir şansı daha olsaydı, hayatını ortalama bir yazar olarak geçirecek dahi olsa o yolu takip etmeyi seçer miydi? Yoksa sadece anne merhametiyle onu cesaretlendiriyor muydu? [/spoiler] Oyunun hikayesini geliştiren kişi/kişiler henüz annenin iç görüsünü yansıtabilecek yaş ve olgunlukta değiller muhtemelen. Bu yüzden kız ile bağlantı kurabileceğimiz doğru kelime seçimleri yapılmışken annenin bilgeliğini yansıtmakta eksik kalmışlar. Bir şeyler verecek gibi oldukları sırada hayal gücü yetmezliği yaşamış gibiler. Onun dışında küçük bir ekibin yaptığını düşündüğüm oyunun jeneriğinde köy nüfusu görmek de biraz şaşırttı beni. Sonuç olarak güzel, benim vaktime de parama da değdi.

This game really pulled at my heartstrings. I love the cleaning up aspect, but the story really gets you. Cleaning up cherished memories long forgotten over time, discovering snippets of your families past and learning more about who they were, and the regret felt when relationships break down and the chance to repair them comes too late. Overall, just an amazing game, and it really made me reflect on some aspects of my own life. Understanding goes a long ways in both directions.

Undusted es un juego donde Mientras volvemos a casa y limpiamos cosas como ASMR,vemos el pasado del cual queriamos escapar asi como los buenos recuerdos y etapas memorables,cada objeto transmite una historia de alegria,tristeza y sobre todo nostalgia,si tuviera que ser mas preciso,cada objeto desentraña pequeños anecdotas,llegando al final nos preparamos para afrontar que debemos cerrar un ciclo y nos equivocamos,el juego nos recompensa con 1 final extraordinariamente nostalgico y un plowtwist que entriztece el corazon asi como un mini PLUS extra,la dinamica de limpiar es genial y se llega a disfrutar muchisimo. Le doy un 9/10

A lovely game with relaxing mechanics and a beautiful story. I enjoyed this one very much.

Love the items and the story they tell. Got very emotional and just sat and thought about life afterwards. I didn't even mind it when i had 0.03% of an item left to clean and couldn't find the spot. Short, sweet, and impactful <3 :')

if you are ok with short games then yes. It's cute though.. but I def wished it was longer.
