It's cute but it lacked depth and I finished the game in under an hour. Buy on sale for a very short story.
This game is very cute and you can tell that it was made with a lot of love and passion, but there are noticeable bugs and I don't feel I can recommend it because of it that. That isn't to say it can't be fixed, I'm very optimistic that it will be, but as of right now it needs to be further polished. I wish nothing but luck to the devs!
extremely short, simple and generic, even for its genre. all you really do is hold the left mouse button.
Very cute little puzzle game! Had small issues while fixing grandma's binoculars or whatever, but otherwise really straightforward and easy little fixing jobs. The story was nice, too!
This is a cute, cozy game that CAN be fun.. but misses the mark for me. The story is barely there, it's very subtle. For something that claims to have a story and we are "rebuilding the past" it's lacking. If it had a better/stronger story, it would immediately feel less task-driven and more immersive. The controls can be janky. A few times I've had to exit whatever I was repairing and re-enter because a piece would go missing or it wouldn't fully clean something. It holds your hand through every piece you build so you literally can't do anything wrong, which keeps it under relaxing but not really under puzzle. All in all, if you like these kinds of games and can snag it on sale - go for it. It's not terrible. But don't pay full price, it's too short and too janky to be worth it (in my opinion).
Not terrible, but not remarkable either. The game took 85 minutes to complete. Extremely simple gameplay. The story is not overly intriguing. I can say that it's very low-stress. Pleasant music and no time-critical tasks. You can't avoid getting 100% achievements if you complete the game.
There's no challenge to the repairs - you don't have to remember what tools do, or what order you took something apart in. It's basically a colour-by-numbers. Very cosy, no stress. The best part are that the adults aren't cookie-cutter. They're all quirky, and own quirky things. For example, I *want* grandma's sewing kit, that thing looks awesome. The fun comes in just kind of... enjoying the objects for the kitchy, cute little things they are. That said, it is short; I got it as part of a deal with another game, so I don't feel hard done by. But if you have a few dollars to throw at about an hour's entertainment, I do think it's worth it.
The game is cute to look at, and the concept is nice, but the gameplay controls are truly bad. I'm requesting a refund.
The game felt so much like a ported mobile game to me. It was short and all of the parts felt sorta lacking. The story I could put together but it could have benefitted from more dialogue from the character, and voice acting the text could have fleshed out her feelings more. The cleaning was 50/50 for me, I either liked it or a didn't like it, though I did like cleaning at least 70% of the items. The draggable ones felt off since I could just hover my mouse in some and regardless it would place it despite not opening something. I'd say it's worth it if you bought the game on sale, but regardless my reaction from playing it is lukewarm.
It has a sweet and wholesome story as you go through and fix little trinkets in each room. Sad it wasn't longer. I don't know if I would've paid as much as I did for it either.
