You've been shot down by every woman in your zip code and you've decided the problem is women. You found Umbranomicon and something finally clicked in that smooth brain of yours. A world that makes sense at last. All the men are gone and every woman left is just standing there waiting for you to show up and be the last ♥♥♥♥ on earth. No personality required. No effort. No wit. No actual human quality of any kind beyond existing and having the right plumbing. You don't have to be interesting. You don't have to be funny. You don't have to know how to listen or read a room or make someone feel like they actually matter to you. You just have to be the only option. That's the whole fantasy. That's it. That's the entire architecture of your romantic life condensed into a ten dollar game and you bought it twice. You're the guy who won't clean the McFlurry machine because it's too much work but wants twenty dollars an hour and has a detailed explanation for why that's reasonable. Fedora slightly askew. Grease on the shirt. And when anyone pushes back — when a real woman, an actual human being with thoughts and preferences and a functioning ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ detector, doesn't immediately melt for you — you tip that fedora, clear your throat, and say "acthually." With the h. Every time. Completely confident. Never once right. And here's what really gets me. You're genuinely pissed at real women for not operating like these ones do. You've had real conversations — well, attempts — and walked away furious that she had thoughts. Preferences. That she wanted you to be worth talking to. You went home, fired up Umbranomicon, and felt vindicated. See. This is how women really are underneath all that having-standards nonsense. This is what they'd be like if society didn't corrupt them with expectations. No, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That's what women are like in games made by guys who've never had to earn a damn thing from one. Now. What actually brought me here. I love this genre. I mean that genuinely. Elves, fae, succubi, fantasy women with actual mystique and otherworldly energy — that's a perfectly legitimate kink and I will not be taking questions. The premise of Umbranomicon had real potential. A shattered fantasy kingdom, a dark queen, women of Lumindor with actual lore behind them. The artwork sold me and it is legitimately beautiful work. Whoever the artists are, they're talented people doing God's work and they deserved a better game to hang it on. Shout out to them specifically. Every single one of them. But what they built around that art is a bait and switch. You come for the fantasy world. The mystical women. The ethereal vibe. The actual romance of a world that different from ours. And what you get is a magic ♥♥♥♥ parade dressed in pretty clothes. You're the last man. Every woman within fifty miles immediately loses her entire personality over you. The "romance" is just unlockable scenes dressed up as character development. It's a vending machine in a corset. Find the right dialogue option, show up enough times, have the chosen-one energy, watch the scene. The women exist as dispensers. The story exists as justification for the dispensing. Hot elves deserve better than this. Hot fae deserve better than this. Even the succubi — whose entire deal is supernatural seduction — deserve to be written as something more than a prize waiting to be claimed by the last mediocre man standing. These are powerful, mythological, dangerous women and this game turned them into a reward system for doing nothing interesting. Real men who actually like women — who know how to talk to them, read them, make them laugh, earn something genuine — clock this within twenty minutes and feel nothing but tired. Not turned on. Not immersed. Tired. Because we know what actual desire looks like and this isn't it. This is a fever dream cooked up by someone who resents women for having standards and solved that problem by making all the other men gnomes. I asked for a refund. Got it. Not one second of regret. Внутри сцены сильно проседает: большинство сцен нарисованы небрежно, с заметными ошибками в пропорциях и анатомии, Отдельное разочарование вызывает заявленная система «фаз». Разработчики сделали четыре стадии проработки для каждой сцены, однако на практике доступны лишь одна или две. Нет ни ускорения, ни динамичных/быстрых анимаций, только растянутые сцены без возможности контроля темпа. В жанре стандартом считается наличие хотя бы опции 2x/4x скорости или быстрых переходов. Единственный момент с ускоренной анимацией — эпизод с кошкой, но даже он страдает от низкого качества рисовки и выглядит скорее как недоработанный черновик. Техническое состояние игры оставляет желать лучшего. В процессе прохождения регулярно всплывают баги: предметы пропадают, Интерфейс тоже работает с ошибками: в сцене при попытке скрыть UI иконки фаз остаются на месте, перекрывая часть сцены и мешая обзору. Нету галереи чтобы посмотреть сцены, надо нажать на героиню, сцену с ноксом повторно НИКАК не посмотреть В текущем виде эта игра не готова к релизу. Проект выпустили в сыром состоянии, сделав ставку на маркетинг в ущерб качеству контента и технической стабильности. Не рекомендую к покупке. Даже за такую цену можно купить хорошую игру Sin spire, Half-Demon Shinobi например

Some parts of this game were good but mostly everything annoying. The game is buggy, mine would lock up after winning nearly every first battle so that I had to force stop the game and then reload and fight the battle again. I didn't like the battles that much. The questions you're supposed to ask of the girls would repeat to the point there were no new question options and only wrong or repeated answers were left but you still have "secrets" to learn. None of the achievements were awarded. I only got this as part of a bundle. I would not choose it otherwise.

Unplayable as it is now, and I don't see much from the Devs on fixing the bugs. Maybe they're happy suckers like me bought it, and since they've got my money, oh well... Too bad, the artwork is good, and the story seemed interesting, but the fighting parts are bugged, and really unnecessary.

Смело могу сказать, что игра стоит своего времени и денег. Она не заставляет слишком много думать, что то из себя выдавливать - просто спокойный проект, со смешинкой, с горячинкой, с гномами и бубами. Вечерок точно вам скрасит, крайне рекомендую

Игра в целом норм, залипательная. Сюжет не супер сложный, но следить интересно, потому что всё крутится вокруг отношений и выборов. Иногда реально думаешь, что сказать или сделать. Картинка приятная, персонажи выглядят живо, не как картонки. Есть моменты, где игра прям тянет атмосферой — сидишь и не хочешь скипать. Геймплей простой: в основном выбираешь варианты и смотришь, к чему это приведёт. Но за счёт этого не напрягает, можно просто расслабиться и играть. В общем, если хочется чего-то такого, с историей и «взрослой» темой — вполне зайдёт.
