UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

super le jeu
Mini & Max is genuinely brilliant and kinda blew my mind. UFO 50 is super worth the money for the time you can put into it, and the games are just fun. You've got the good stuff from these kinds of retro games while being willing to break from the retro feel when necessary to keep things smooth and fun. I don't recommend trying to just play them in the order presented, as Barbuta is the first game and is not exactly an easy one to get into. Jump around! Pick randomly! Pick something that looks cool!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

GREATEST VIDEO GAME EVER MADE
A collection like this shouldn't work, it's just not feasible to bundle this many games and not have them be mediocre at best. Yet somehow, UFO 50 immediately had me hooked, and within 2 weeks I had racked up over 110 hours of playtime. Despite getting bored very easily and only ever playing a handful of new games each year, a vast majority of the games here managed to hold my interest, even in genres I expected I wouldn't enjoy. I generally enjoy a good challenge, and a lot of the games here definitely challenged me in a way I enjoyed, I even ended up loving some that I originally thought were too hard, but a couple of games still are too difficult for me in a frustrating way. With the variety of games on offer here, I can't imagine picking this up and not enjoying at least a few of the games, and for this price, at 50 cent per game, it's some of the best value around!
A solid recommend. A nice collection eclectic of games that makes you feel like your discovering some lost gems from yesteryear. My highlight was Party House.
Wonderful!
This game collection is amazing. Each game is really original and interesting. They really went out of their way to create a very diverse experience and the ufosoft wrapping around it all it just great.
Thought I was good at arcade-y games till I graced my fingers onto this. It's fun! But man, some games I cannot beat.. BUY IT
Love the variety of games. Easy to learn, fun to play. Love the simplistic layout of the games. Good levels of challenge to be found in most of these games. Great value.
