An alright enough Bioshock clone (Without plasmids) completely ruined by its ending and enemy design.
Do you miss Bioshock shoot outs? Well this is the game for you. Minus magic powers unfortunately. But the vibes are 100% there.

What this game is: An indie, very Bioshock-inspired arcade shooter that is a ton of fun to play through during its short runtime. What this game is not: A new Bioshock game, or even all that similar from a gameplay perspective. There are no powers and only basic weapon upgrades, the levels are linear and full of abstract arenas, and the game at no point tries to make the setting feel like a real place. --- If you're looking for a cheap, fun little FPS journey through a twisted theme park, this is a great pick up. The game is quite short (took me 4-5 hours on normal) but it offers a NG+ option with what sounds like a different route through the game, which I have yet to try out.
I was really hooked by the aesthetic of the game and the fluidity of the shooting, but im sad to say this game feels very dull to play, the mechanics and progression is extremely basic to be able to enjoy it
Top notch atmosphere and world.. gameplay like a mix between Bioshock and Doom, so if you like either of those titles you'll love this game. Story was pretty weak imo but other than that very solid.
YES, YES, AND YES!!! I've been waiting for a game like this for SO LONG. Seriously, this game is an absolute gem. 10/10 for me. The atmosphere, the art direction, the music... everything works together perfectly to completely immerse you in this world. From beginning to end, I was hooked. The story is also fantastic. It's well written, genuinely engaging, and constantly makes you want to keep going and discover what's coming next. The ending was really satisfying too. Seriously, huge thanks to the team behind this game. You've done an amazing job and created something truly special. I absolutely loved the variety of locations throughout the map. Every area feels different and keeps the experience fresh. Bonus points for the maze and the roller coaster sections — I especially loved those! There's also a great selection of weapons, and somehow they just keep getting crazier and crazier. The surprises, the tension, the stress, the fear... I felt all of it. One thing I particularly appreciated is how clear the game is about where you're supposed to go and what you're supposed to do. It doesn't try to turn everything into some huge puzzle where you're constantly stuck trying to figure out the solution. It's a much more straightforward experience, and honestly, I had an absolute blast because of that. I could simply keep moving forward and enjoy the atmosphere, the story, and everything happening around me. And I have to mention the soundtrack again because I absolutely loved it. The music fits the game and its atmosphere perfectly and adds so much to the overall experience. My only small negative point: I really wish the game had a French translation, or at least French subtitles. That would have made the experience even better for me. I really hope we can expect a sequel someday. I would LOVE to see another game in this style, especially with something like a Christmas or Halloween theme. I think this kind of gameplay and artistic direction could be incredible with those settings. Thank you again to the entire team for 5 hours of pure happiness. I loved every minute of it. 10/10 — absolutely worth playing.
If you like Bioshock, you'll love this game too. Great atmosphere and gunplay. Story line was worth paying attention to and the ending makes it really satisyfing. It also has replayablilty with unlocking more content after you beat it. Easily worth buying and playing for yourself.
I'm going to tell you right off the bat that this isn't a particularly bad game. I didn't outright hate it, but it's really hard to say I'd recommend it, hence this review. I went into this knowing it took heavy inspiration from Bioshock and you can definitely feel it, weapon variety that deals with some enemies better than others, the creepy atmosphere surrounding the environment and the denizens etc etc. All well and good. The problem is that it tries too hard to hit similar story beats Bioshock had and it flops hard here. I don't think I've ever seen a game fall apart so hard at the end before, it's almost impressive in a way. I have been so soured on this game from how frankly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the writing is at the end that it killed all motivation for a second playthrough which the game heavily incentivizes. As you play you'll see the alternate path through the tower that becomes available in NG+, there's multiple achievements for subsequent runs as well, but I can tell you right now I'm never doing that. If you still decide to go into this, get it on sale and just do it for the gunplay. The weapons and movement items available to you are genuinely fun with meaningful upgrades, but pull up a long podcast or something and listen to that instead of any of the cutscenes or letters (which are this game's audiolog equivalent).
