Twisted Gallery is a psychological horror game that transforms the quiet atmosphere of an art museum into an unnerving test of observation and memory. Developed and published by FH Create Inc, the game embraces a minimalist approach that focuses on subtle environmental changes instead of traditional horror mechanics. Inspired by anomaly-detection experiences, it places players inside an endless gallery where every corridor, painting, sculpture, and decorative detail could conceal something that does not belong. The result is an experience that relies on tension and uncertainty rather than action, encouraging players to constantly question what they have seen and whether their memory can be trusted. The gameplay centers on exploring a looping museum while carefully searching for visual abnormalities. Every section appears familiar at first glance, but the smallest differences can determine whether players continue progressing or become trapped within the mysterious gallery. Success depends entirely on patience and attention to detail, rewarding players who notice slight alterations in artwork, lighting, objects, or architecture. This straightforward design makes the mechanics easy to understand while remaining surprisingly engaging, as every completed loop increases the pressure to stay focused and avoid overlooking even the smallest change. One of the game's most appealing design choices is the variety built into its anomaly system. Instead of repeatedly presenting the same surprises, Twisted Gallery cycles through its collection of anomalies before repeating them, keeping subsequent playthroughs fresh and unpredictable. Hidden Easter eggs also encourage thorough exploration, giving observant players additional secrets to uncover beyond the primary objective. These features significantly improve replayability, ensuring that each return to the gallery offers new discoveries instead of simply relying on memorization. Visually, the game succeeds by embracing simplicity. The pristine museum environment is filled with contemporary artwork, clean hallways, polished floors, and carefully arranged exhibits that initially feel calm and inviting. This ordinary setting becomes increasingly unsettling as reality begins to distort, making seemingly insignificant changes stand out in disturbing ways. Rather than overwhelming players with grotesque imagery, the game creates fear by corrupting an otherwise peaceful environment. The restrained visual presentation allows every anomaly to have greater impact, making players second-guess everything they encounter. The audio design complements this atmosphere exceptionally well. Long periods of silence are interrupted only by subtle environmental sounds that reinforce the feeling of isolation. Instead of relying on frequent jump scares or loud musical cues, the soundscape builds suspense through quiet anticipation. Every step through the museum feels deliberate, with the absence of constant noise making players more alert to their surroundings. This measured approach fits perfectly with the game's emphasis on psychological tension over conventional horror spectacle. Although the narrative remains intentionally mysterious, the game's premise effectively supports its atmosphere. Players awaken inside an unfamiliar gallery without clear explanations, leaving the strange environment itself to tell the story. Rather than delivering extensive dialogue or lengthy cutscenes, the experience encourages players to interpret the events through exploration and observation. This ambiguity adds to the unsettling mood, allowing the mystery surrounding the endless museum to remain compelling throughout the journey. Twisted Gallery also benefits from its accessible design. Its controls are straightforward, and the objective is immediately understandable regardless of previous experience with the genre. The challenge comes entirely from careful observation instead of complex mechanics or difficult puzzles, making it approachable for newcomers while still offering a satisfying mental challenge for experienced players. Features such as autosaving and flexible play sessions further improve convenience without disrupting immersion. One aspect that may not appeal to everyone is the game's narrow focus. Since the entire experience revolves around identifying anomalies within a looping environment, players looking for deep storytelling, action sequences, or elaborate puzzle-solving may find the gameplay somewhat repetitive. However, those who appreciate slow-burning psychological horror and games that reward concentration will likely enjoy the deliberate pacing and steadily escalating tension. Its focused design ensures that every mechanic contributes directly to the intended atmosphere instead of distracting from it. An interesting production detail is the use of AI-generated artwork created with Adobe Firefly for some of the museum's paintings. Because artwork serves as part of the game's environment, opinions on this choice may differ among players. Nevertheless, the images function effectively within the gameplay by supporting the anomaly-detection mechanics and blending naturally into the gallery's unsettling presentation. Overall, Twisted Gallery is a well-crafted psychological horror experience that proves compelling gameplay can emerge from a simple concept executed with confidence. Its combination of careful observation, immersive environmental design, effective sound direction, and varied anomaly system creates an engaging adventure that consistently maintains tension. While its specialized gameplay loop may not satisfy players seeking broader mechanics or a lengthy narrative, it delivers exactly what it sets out to achieve. Fans of atmospheric horror and perception-based challenges will find Twisted Gallery to be a memorable and rewarding indie title. Rating: 8/10
Small thing, gave me a chuckle.
AMAZING GAME
Curto, mas muito divertido.
ну это топ))) и посмеялся и пообсерался)))))) 200 рубликов а столько эмоций!!!
I bought it because of the cat, but I also really liked the gameplay and had a lot of fun with it. The replay value isn't particularly high, but overall it's definitely worth it. It's also easy to unlock all the achievements. All in all, I really enjoyed it. UIIAI! ♥
That was awful. Beat it first try. Not very interesting or fun. Plays like a walking simulator. Spent more money on the game than i did minutes playing. Currently trying to find a way to get my money back.
