Will you be able to survive the night and unveil the dark secrets lurking within your own home?
In the middle of the night, when your parents decide to go out and leave you in the care of your older teenage sister, you find yourself embroiled in a new and terrifying adventure. But this time, it will be much more intense than usual. It could even be the last one.
The game's narrative masterfully combines exploration, chilling events, and increasingly complex puzzle-solving. As you explore different areas of your home plunged into crushing darkness, you'll gather clues about the former inhabitants and unravel a terrible mystery, including the fate of one of them... But be careful, the monster is still loose.
Pay close attention to every detail and sound; they will be your only guides in the night. Objects and furniture may change places, leaving you trapped and disoriented in your own house. Use the elements you find around you—they could be your best allies to survive the night and discover that not everything is a product of your imagination.

Nocturia is an absolute diamond in the rough when it comes to horror games. Often overlooked due to its mixed reviews from earlier versions of the game, Nocturia has truly evolved into a much more polished version of its former self. Nocturia offers some of the scariest moments and best jumpscares I've ever experienced in an indie horror game. Although its not a relatively long game, Noturia absolutely packs a punch in a short amount of time offering a compelling narrative, good puzzles and a truly terrifying tone without overstaying its welcome as many indie horror games often do. I HIGHLY recommend Nocturia to any fan of the horror gaming genre as it was easily my favorite horror game of 2023!

I LOVED IT !!, it's a short game but it has a bit of everything. It's dark, and the scares are amazing. The ending left me stunned, I would have liked to keep reading for longer! For being their first installment, it's very well done. It has some issues but nothing major, normal for an indie game in early access. Looking forward to its final release and future installments!
I didn’t expect much from this game, but it really surprised me.
For an indie title, it looks fantastic and managed to scare me several times, which is hard to do! Although it’s short, it immerses you in the atmosphere and delivers scares at just the right moments. It reminds me of ChillArt: ambiance, puzzles, and fears. Give it a shot!
After a year or so of keeping my eye on this game, I can happily say that i can now recommend it, although hesitantly.

Please keep in mind this is an early access review and will be altered as the game progresses to its full release. I recognise that my initial review of the title may have come off as aggressively negative and perhaps deterred others from picking it up. THIS REVIEW IS NOT A JUDGEMENT OF THE FULL GAME
The idea of the story is novel, a child accidentally uncovering an old murder case while trying to go to the bathroom at night is a weird and unique premise, and I absolutely adored Among The Sleep, another game in which you play as a small human. The demon child looks appropriately creepy, and I will also admit there is one scare in this game that sent me backwards in my chair a bit. The timing and execution of it goes to show the developers know how to make a competent horror game, but it's still a little messily put together. After multiple updates, the game has a few more well timed scares. the devs have done a good job of listening to feedback. Nocturia is an experience I paid $11.79 for. In my original review, i stated this as a big problem, considering the state of the game at the time. I still think the price is quite high for what you're getting but the developers are proving that they're working on the game and fixing/changing/updating what they can to make it a more fledged and enjoyable experience, (though it has taken a while to get here). I would still say to wait for a sale but at this point I don't see as big of an issue with the pricepoint. Nocturia still has issues with the game turning into a pixelhunt in the last portion but the walk/sprint speed has been altered significantly, as well as environmental cues to guide the player. The game brightness is also less of a problem and the game runs well. This game has it's charms, it has some well placed scares, and the idea is cute but it does still need some work. Gripes aside, though, I can happily say I do recommend Nocturia, although don't go into it with any insane expectations. The devs are doing their due diligence to make the game as enjoyable as possible, and good things like that take time. Nocturia gets a
5.5/10 hopefully it can get higher
Check out My Curator Page for more!
This game is fun. Great story. I love the jump scares.
super scary. loved the jump scares!!!!! nice plot
First off the jump scares in this game are so good!!! It starts off as a little boy who just has to pee and it turns into a literal house of horrors! To be honest idk how the kid didn't pee himself 😂 but in all seriousness there are a few bugs and the lighting could be improved in some areas but overall money well spent. Can't wait to see what the Bros ha e in store next!
