Pros: Stunningly simple concept: get the most money for the most oil you can get out of the ground! Playing through the first campaign is enjoyable, and you are quickly rewarded for reading the world map for where the oil lies! Don't jump for the largest oil pockets (or diamonds) until you unlocked the next best technology or you'll leave lots of oil (and diamonds) in the ground! Cons: each of four zones reveals a new technology utterly important for maximizing profits. the game doesn't make it clear you should conserve some cash for the new zones. and the examples images are not the greatest. Also: you MUST use diamonds BEFORE going to the auction house - you cannot use them AT the auction house, and if you use them AFTER then you will simply LOSE the diamond. The game seems to punish you for not knowing these things already and so by the end of zone 3 it really starts to drag on and on.
