"Turmoil" is not to be confused with many other games also called Turmoil, most popular of which is a mobile app about oil production. Instead, this is an unfortunately failed top down action game... and I guess the first thing is the developer describing this as "isometric", when it's obviously not, the graphics are done, as most PC games, using a visual style known as perspective projection. Isometric, meaning "equal measures" is a different technique that does not represent the visual perspective at all. You'll most commonly see isometric views in 2D games representing 3D environments, such as the first Maxis "The Sims" game. Notice how something very far away is the same size (equal measure) as things very close to you in The Sims? That's because it's isometric. We learned something "new" today, I guess. Why did I need to go into that? I think it helps to understand why this was such a failure... when developers don't even know what kind of 3D their game is, you know you're gonna have a bad time. What do you do in the game? Gameplay involves navigating hazardous environments, fighting robots, collecting oil for health, and upgrading your mechanical arm, using procedural generation for levels. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Turmoil, 3D izometrik yukarıdan aşağıya aksiyon roguelike oyunudur. Dizel punk estetiğinden ilham alan, çevresel tehlikelerle ve düşman robot işçilerle dolu dolambaçlı bir fabrika alanında hayatta kalma hedefiyle gezinin. Küllerden doğmak! boss a, bir işçinin mekanik parçalardan daha fazlası olduğunu gösterin.
This won't run on my I9 or Ryzen 9 with way over ram needed. Glad it was free, looked like I would of enjoyed it. Will change my review once this is fixed. Understand it just was released but should of been tested more.
It has terrible PC support, cant pan the camera on PC and doesn't show PC controls. I'd say its kind of hard/confusing but I probably just suck. NOT RECCOMENDED. If they fix it maybe, but its not great.
I couldn't figure out how to progress but the game shows promise!
