Drill for oil like it's 1899! Turmoil offers players a visually charming, tongue-in-cheek take on the simulation genre inspired by the 19th century oil rush in North America.

完了很长时间,作为简单小游戏的话,就真的挺耐玩
Great game, but I could never really learn the ropes of the more advanced features like making gas pockets grow or petrol refineries. Somehow I always ended up losing money or not being able to multitask, so I mainly focused on selling oil, which is enough to enjoy the game and beat your competitors. It's a nice, relaxing game, but if you plan on playing the expert mode, you're in for a very annoying playthrough if you haven't mastered all the mechanics.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

太好玩了,虽然是单机游戏,但是一点都不乏味枯燥,里面的机器人行为很逼真有趣,而且玩通关之后还有每日比赛,每天想起来都可以玩一玩,价格也不贵,极力推荐。
Its a Cute game with one giant downfall.... the hardest mode is still a joke. 2 difficultys, 2 playthroughs, 2 landslide wins. 0 replayability = 3-4 hours of gameplay. Multiplayer would be cool, if i had friends that game. Playing with randoms, waiting 24+ hours to take a turn is pretty lame. Its hard to recommend this game but i still have to because its got good bones. It could have been an AMAZING game if it had more difficulty levels, and i dont mean just the AI opponents but with the maps themselves. It is very easy to 100% clear every map with time to spare, this should be rare if not impossible. This makes about 50% of the upgrades pointless as you dont need them to clear maps. Approx 4x the size of the levels with the same time constraints would be a start to fix this.
Turmoil is a strategy sim about joining the 19th-century oil rush, leasing land, drilling for oil, building pipe networks, and selling when prices are high. Between rounds you buy upgrades and town shares while competing against other oil barons to become mayor. Pros ✔️ Has a good board game kinda feel - Bidding on land, playing out each drilling round, buying upgrades, and fighting over town shares makes the whole campaign feel like a good strategy board game. ✔️ Still getting extra content at a reasonable price - For a game that is almost ten years old, I like that there are still extra campaigns and mechanics to dig into without the DLC costing a fortune. ✔️ Multiple strategies to match how you play - You can sell oil quickly, stockpile it in silos for better prices, invest in different upgrades, or use things like natural gas to manipulate the market. There is not just one way to make your fortune. Cons ❌ The horse AI is kinda bad - Wagons do not always behave how I want them to, which gets especially annoying when I am trying to move oil quickly and the horses decide they have other plans. ❌ The silos feel a little under-utilized - Storing oil until prices improve is useful, but I found myself wishing there was a little more to the storage side of managing everything. ❌ Pipe controls could use some... refinement - Switching between shutting off pipes and trying to build new ones can be more awkward than it needs to be. Get it? Refinement. Oil. I am hilarious. Conclusion Turmoil is a pretty great lil strategy game, and I can see why it is still getting attention almost ten years later. It is simple enough preadsheeto pick up without turning into st homework, but there is enough strategy underneath to keep each oil field interesting. And really, who can say no to a bit of rootin tootin capitalism in the old west? Score 7/10 Barrels of Crude - The oil rush ended a long time ago, but apparently I am still willing to dig one more well.
