Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was too lazy to rotate my screen, so i rotated the game instead, and rebound the inputs, because this is an awesome release where you can do that. It’s another vertical scroll shooter. The guns have three levels, and you can change their colour. In the sequel they’ve remixed that a bit. Your main gun remains the same and only gets more powerful. The blue gun is a low DPS lock-on aimbot weapon. The green gun is now spread, and i don’t find it very useful, since every gun is already filling that niche. The red gun is low-range high-DPS weapon. With upgrades it also starts shooting to the sides, and then diagonally behind you. And red was my weapon of choice, since usually it can dispatch many of the enemies before they fill the whole screen with bullets and kill me. It’s an arcade P2W coin muncher developed for proprietors of seedy parlours, not for players, so it is absolutely intentionally unfair. You die from one hit, the enemies try to ram you, the screen is filled with bullets. If you die you lose all your upgrades, including speed, to make sure you have to put more and more coins into the game to have bigger and bigger sunken cost. And of course there are enemies attacking you from behind with no warning. And you can’t really shoot behind you. Starting from the third boss the game turns into a bullet hell. The sprites are decently pretty. But in this game you can’t see the enemy bullets for ♥♥♥♥ behind all that noise and explosions. They aren’t high contrasts, and neither do they occupy the foreground. They barely stand out from the backgrounds, occupy a middle layer, so they are drawn below other big bright sprites. They are basically invisible in many situations. This one is a great release. It you can rebind the keys, and it supports multiple binds. There’s different difficulty and “assist” options. You can become a sportsmen and train to beat this not very long unfair game created to racket kids’ coins on one life. You can insert infinite virtual coins. You can use save-games between the levels. Or you can rewind. There are sufficient display options. There are no stupid baked-in envelopes for the render, and there’s screen rotation option, allowing you to properly play it on your 3//4 vertical screen.

I appreciate that this game has an actual checkpoint system that resets your progress a certain amount when you die. The game is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard despite having unlimited continues. Great for people that want a challenging SHMUP but don't want to spend 40 hours going for the one coin clear. I'm also just happy to see quality arcade games coming to Steam. Never really got to go to arcades too much as a kid, and when I did I mostly just played ticket games (Mom if I win 4000 tickets I can get a free xbox!). It genuinely irritates the ♥♥♥♥ out of me how little official preservation there is for a lot of arcade games, so I'm glad this is here, and I'm glad it's high quality, and I'm glad the game itself is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun.
Truxton 2 is a great sequel to a good game. This game improves on the Orion almost every way. The game is hard, but there are several difficulty options (part of the original arcade and can be set by the arcade operator). The game is very accessible at the easiest level.
How to you make Truxton better? Make a part 2! Loved this in the arcade when I was able to find it. The music is great. The game gets to hard for me towards the latter half. This is also 2 player, which makes the game a lot easier because you don't get reset when you die. Give me Truxton 3!!!
