Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wow, for such a simple and grounded racing game, this is really fun to play! I was expecting to get bored at the "just driving" gameplay, but I didn't. All you do is drive, use your handbrake to drift and use your boost (you can also use the horn but it is useless). But the trucks are very fun to drive. It took me a few races to get used to the controls, but once you do, you will realise how nice they are. Seriously, I was annoyed at how the trucks drove at first. But, a few races later, I was having a blast with the driving controls. You can also upgrade your handling and other stuff on your truck, so that helps a lot too. Some upgrades will affect some stats negatively, so you also have to decide which ones you prefer buying. The visual graphics are alright, nothing too special. Some of the lighting effects (such as the lens flares) look amazing, but they get a bit in the way of the gameplay, so they can be annoying. But the tracks are still cool looking, and their settings are interesting too, for truck racing.
for the price this is very much recommended! The game plays surprisingly good and even for the age, this is a pretty good time to waste a few hours! Right now it is on sale for 0,99 Euro and you should just buy this game now! RECOMMENDED!!!
Fun little arcade racer

Yes.
Truck Racer, developed by Kylotonn Entertainment and published by Plug In Digital and Nacon, offers a distinct twist on the traditional racing formula by putting players behind the wheel of massive competition trucks rather than sleek sports cars or lightweight rally vehicles. From its first moments, the game makes a clear statement: this is racing built around power, weight, and chaotic momentum. The trucks thunder across asphalt and dirt with an exaggerated sense of scale, throwing their weight around corners and into rivals with surprising agility. The experience thrives on this contrast between sheer bulk and unexpectedly lively handling, giving the game an identity that separates it from more conventional racers of its era. The core structure of Truck Racer revolves around a series of events spread across multiple environments and track layouts. With dozens of tracks, numerous truck categories, and a generous suite of customization options, the game offers more content than its modest presentation suggests. Each truck can be upgraded with engine enhancements, handling improvements, and various mechanical tweaks, allowing players to tailor their vehicle to different challenges. Paint jobs and cosmetic customization add further personality, giving the progression a satisfying sense of ownership. While the physics lean toward the arcade side, the weight of these machines still comes through in their dramatic drifts, heavy braking zones, and destructive collisions. Rubbing bumpers, blocking opponents, and smashing through obstacles becomes part of the competitive rhythm, making each race feel like a blend of speed and brute force. The game modes help sustain this energy across different styles of play. Championship mode provides a structured progression curve as you climb through events, earn currency, and refine your vehicle. Quick Race and Time Attack offer more immediate bursts of action, while elimination modes intensify each lap with rising tension. The inclusion of local split-screen and online multiplayer allows Truck Racer to shine in social settings. Competing with or against friends adds a layer of joyful chaos that enhances the game’s arcade sensibilities. Even though the online player base is quiet by modern standards, the local multiplayer remains a highlight, particularly for those who enjoy pick-up-and-play party racing. Visually, the game reflects its early-2010s origins. Environments are varied enough to keep races interesting, ranging from countryside circuits to industrial zones, but textures and lighting show their age. The trucks themselves, however, are well-modeled and benefit from satisfying damage effects that reinforce the game’s physicality. Sound design follows suit: engines roar with throaty aggression, collisions crackle with impact, and the overall audio package contributes to the sense of raw metal-on-metal competition. While the presentation lacks the polish of higher-budget racing titles, its straightforward, functional style complements the arcade approach. Truck Racer does carry some limitations that can affect the long-term experience. The physics, while enjoyable, sometimes feel inconsistent or floaty, and certain AI behaviors can swing between overly passive and strangely reckless. The lack of depth in certain systems may cause repetition for players who prefer more nuance or simulation-oriented gameplay. Still, these shortcomings do not undermine the game’s core appeal: it is fast, noisy, and unapologetically focused on fun rather than realism. For many players, the charm lies precisely in its rough edges and its willingness to embrace mayhem over precision. As a complete package, Truck Racer succeeds as a niche but memorable entry in the arcade racing genre. It offers enough content, customization, and chaotic entertainment to justify its place in a racing library, particularly for fans of vehicular combat or unconventional motorsport experiences. It may not compete with heavyweight racing franchises in terms of polish or long-term depth, but it delivers a type of racing that few other games attempt—high-speed competition between lumbering mechanical giants. For players craving something different, energetic, and built around pure destructive momentum, Truck Racer remains an enjoyable and underappreciated diversion. Rating: 7/10
