By far my favorite Tropico in the series. I love being able to build up a whole island and protect it.

One of the first games I bought on Steam, played maybe 20 hours and bounced off in 2013. It's a pretty good city builder! Not overly complex or difficult, aside from a few campaign missions. It has the normal SimCity problem of traffic being a lategame nightmare but you can mostly work around it with building by the grid. Lots of RP and fun stuff with the cold war caricatures of people like Nixon, Thatcher, Che Guevara, etc. Some of the DLC buildings are really OP but in a "fixes the problem" way that makes it bearable to go above 1000 pop.
This is a classic. Get it.
