Very clunky controls make this for a miss in my book. Refunding.
great idea for game but hard to manage. controls need improvement.
Fun game After playing the demo for a few minutes I promptly purchased this little gem on sale. Great little game The techno playlist is good. I tried to research who made the music but there is no information available. Anyone know who did the techno ?
Were we all playing the same game? Seems like a lazy attempt to cash in on the word simulator. Even the $3 I paid was a little too much. The only tutorial is walls of text in the pause menu (I aint reading allat) and I looked at it but couldn't figure out how to order supplies for my bar so the patrons were pissed, I couldn't fix problems once I had started the disco for the night - such as the fact I didn't know to add a queue to my bathroom - so I just had to sit there bored while my patrons all complained. Plus the building is incredibly rudimentary & there's only a small selection of objects, although you do unlock more. Someone compared it to Sims 1 building but simpler and yeah it kinda feels like Sims 1 in a bad way. Events randomly happen throughout the night but they're so simple and basically just pictures in a popup window so it was not engaging at all.
Straightforward gameplay, yet still challenging enough to keep you engaged. The early stages of every level are a little naggy but after you get the staff upgrades it is enjoyable to play and work through each level.
So, I enjoyed parts of the functions of the game, parts of it were limiting but it was entertaining. Then I noticed something interesting. The further I upgraded and leveled up in the game, the more obvious some pretty rampant sexism became. All of the highest paid employees for Bartenders, Tech and Security are all male. Always (as far as I saw). Bouncers? Only male. Dancers? Only female. Highest paid employees for cleaners? Female. I hope that my experience was an outlier, but after playing several clubs I noticed this throughout.
