Fun twin stick shooter. Play like a more bubbly version of other games but still with plenty of guts. Bit of a metroidvania twist in there as well.
Its a really fun game. Top bottom shooter but you feel like its the classic Zelda from the super nintendo. Its a bit short, but for me its worth its money. I use Linux Mint, and it works fine for me with no issues.
Fantastic pixel art and brutal but fun gameplay. If you are looking for a family friendly experience, you turn on Pinata mode. Highly recommended, well polished indie game.

Cute little twin stick shooter with the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane pivot turn ending of all time.
It’s somewhat criminal that Trigger Witch isn’t a much bigger game. While its mix of Zelda-style adventuring and Smash TV style shooting is definitely an unlikely (if not niche) combo, the two combine to make something really special, creating an action-adventure in which there is no downtime between dungeons and yet, still enough puzzle-solving to offset the frantic blasting. It’s like sweet chili, or chocolate covered pretzels; an odd combination that shouldn’t work, but creates a flavour contrast that just *works*, dammit. My only complaint is the blood; I’m no stranger to gory games, but it just doesn’t seem to work with Trigger Witch’s storybook tone. Even then, this is offset by the ability to turn the gore off - it’s just odd that it’s the game’s default setting. Also, the storyline goes absolutely *insane* towards the end. A late storyline reveal is so outlandish that I can see it infuriating a few players, although as a patron of the ridiculous I admired how outrageous it was. Something to be aware of if you’re playing this for the story. You shouldn’t be though. You should be playing for how utterly enjoyable the journey is, with some great dungeon crawling and shooting that stays visceral and satisfying right until the end.
The gunplay is good but it's one those "Where the hell do I go" of game. Gotta find the right key for the right door so there's lot of backtrack in a dungeon. The story is not interesting and I don't know why the developers chose this setting (Western teenage witches). The story isn't interesting at all, it just seems like the developers wanted to tell jokes about how funny it would be for witches to use guns and kill cute things. The music is good, but I wish the music transition between overworld and combat was less jarring. Probably won't finish it due to being stuck in the first dungeon (where do I go?) and not liking to backtrack so much, but it's still a well done good game that you probably will enjoy if you like 2D zelda games and twin stick shooters. (Before you comment "git good", no I don't particularely like metroidvanias. I still bought the game because it's looked like a good twinstick shooter, which it is, but the flavor is diluted too much by all the backtracking)
Very good game. I was wondering how guns would work in a zelda-esque setting and I think they pulled it off very well. Will be looking forward to other games this studio will make. Really humourous throughout with a nice story. Absolutely hilarious last boss too!
Tis fun!
