Reviews
A decade ahead of its time. Incredible world, great art, satisfying combat, though too short.
IDK why it took me so long to play this after I bought it. Masterpiece.
Following the tradition of good Supergiant Games
The game play was a bit to get used to, but i loved it anyways. NOW TO PRYE BABY!
A game that, gameplay-wise, outshines just about everything that was clunky about Bastion and owns how fun it is. Unfortunately, the story is probably the least engaging that Supergiant has put out (it's not bad, since it's Supergiant, but it's not great either), and strays a little too far towards Her (the movie) and Westworld S3 (these are not good comparisons, btw). However, the actual gameplay itself is so fun that it doesn't feel at all like a waste of time. Lovely to play each of their games in order, though, since I feel like it's only in Pyre where the gameplay and story truly make a perfect match. And this is well worth playing if you liked any other Supergiant game.
An underrated masterpiece. Writing and art carry it to the end. It takes a while to get used to the combat system, but once you do, you find joy in customizing your loadout and trying new combos. Cannot recommend it enough.
