Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Transistor – Steam Review (ROG Ally / Touch Devices) The music and gameplay are absolutely wonderful, and I wanted to love this as much as Supergiant’s other titles. Unfortunately, there’s a long-standing bug that makes it nearly unplayable on the ROG Ally or any touch-enabled laptop/screen. If you accidentally tap the touchscreen, all combat commands lock to touch input, forever, without modifying game files. The only fix is a workaround I posted on the forums, but the dev team has never patched it. After the fourth time running into this issue mid-run, I finally uninstalled. It’s a shame to leave a negative review for such a gorgeous game, but if you’re on any touch-enabled device, be warned.
Not at the same tier as Hades (though, that's a high bar), but definitely still a solid Super Giant game! Played fully on Steam Deck with only minor issues here and there. Check out more reviews in my Curator Group!

I was so incredibly wowed by both Hades games that I figured trying Supergiant's older games would also give me a great experience too. This one winded up being....meh? It's not bad, per se, it just feels like a half-baked idea. It's very short, almost seeming like a prologue but then it all just ends. The story is pieced together. You dont actually meet any characters, they all just have their own profiles that you unlock as you intermix your functions. But that's it. They are just info dumps. Combat is very sluggish and difficult at times. It's a hybrid tactics and action game but your character is SO slow during the action portion it's impossible not to get hit. And enemies hit HARD in the later segments. And do you die when you reach 0 health? Nope, you lose one of your abilities for a while. Which makes the battle even harder, especially when it's your dash. I winded up getting a bit bored with the same foes one after another. The world itself is beautiful as is the music and the voicework is done well too, as expected. But it's basically just battle after battle, in this massive empty digital world. Some story parts weren't explained and I winded up not caring about finishing the profiles of all the tertiary characters by changing up functions. Which, the idea of mix and matching your various abilities is a great idea, but since the combat is such a chore, it makes the abilities also a chore, since you have to keep changing out abilities if you "die" during combat. Overall, it's not *awful*, it just has all this potential that was somehow quashed with baffling gameplay/story decisions.
Beautiful animations, scenery, and music. Fun gameplay, lots of replayability (including new game+, an all-too-rare feature), discoverable lore if you want it without exposition if you don't. Wonderful game.
Transistor me encantó, simple y llanamente.
