Train Simulator: East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough Route Add-On

This route is nearly ten years old but it still looks amazing. The class 365 is pretty good too. I’d recommend getting it through GBRJ although you have to copy over the 801 folders

The route is great and most of the scenarios are really good involving many stops between London and Peterborough. But I give this a negative review because as usual the devs made a grave mistake that they never bothered to fix; the single HST route has a random 15mph limit that appears on a small section about 30 miles in right before going back to 125mph, this single mistake makes the route literally impossible to complete with any points. They literally did not play-test this at all.

this route is the best value for money route in the game £15 for 76 miles of track and massive variety of scenario opportunity for this you've got the ECML Fast Services non stop to Peterborough stopping services to Welwyn garden city freight services semi fast services to Peterborough its all there two down sides of this route is the biggest one is the missing scenery on the Hertford Loop second is the rolling stock provided with the route is well fairly dated now the HST is just an rehash of the original from 2007 nothing is new the class 365 is OK model wise however the sounds are meh physics are meh and the worst part is the camera position of the train which if its raining means you can't see anything as its too low also this pack comes with the class 801 which is well meh but useful for modern day scenarios on this route

ENG/CZE This is another DLC set around London. This time it's the busy East Coast Main Line from King's Cross station to Peterborough in the north (where the next DLC to York picks up). This is one of the main line express lines which is electrified along its entire length with 25kV overhead line voltage. After leaving the King X the route passes through the outskirts and suburbs of London, a densely built-up area, before continuing north into the open farmland, but still containing a number of towns and cities and therefore a large number of stations. For most of the journey it is a 3-4 track line, only narrowing to two tracks in a few places. Although this is older DLC, it is quite detailed, especially in the London area, and includes a number of stations, tunnels and the surrounding countryside. As it is a speedway with a limit of up to 125 mph, the ride is brisk. The basic EMU range includes the Class 365 type, the older Class 43 (or IC125) and you can buy the modern Class 801 set as standard, which has just replaced the old IC 125. Several other DLCs with specific trains are placed on this particular line, and depending on your collection you then have the option of running a number of other types of rolling stock. The considerable number of fan missions is also an advantage. Overall I can recommend it and rate it 8/10. Tentokrát jde o vytíženou trať East Coast Main Line z nádraží King Cross do města Peterborough na severu (kde navazuje další DLC do Yorku). Jedná se o jednu z hlavních rychlostních tratí která je elektrifikována po celé své délce napětím 25kV z troleje. Po opuštění King X trasa vede přes okraje a předměstí Londýna, tedy hustě zastavěnou oblastí, aby pak pokračovala severněji do otevřené zemědělské krajiny, kde se však stále nachází řada měst a městeček a tedy i velký počet stanic. Po většinu cesty jde o 3 - 4 kolejnou trať, pouze na několika místech se zužuje na koleje dvě. Přestože jde o starší DLC, je poměrně detailní, zejména pak v oblasti Londýna, obsahuje řadu stanic, tunelů i krajiny okolo. Vzhledem k tomu, že se jedná o rychlostní trať s limitem až 125 mph, jízda ubíhá svižně. V základní nabídce je EMU typ Class 365, starší Class 43 (neboli IC125) a ke koupi standardně dostanete moderní soupravu Class 801, která nahradila právě staré IC 125. Několik dalších DLC s konkrétními vlaky je umístěno právě na tuto trať, v závislosti na Vaší sbírce pak máte možnost jezdit s řadou dalších typů vozového parku. Výhodou je i značný počet fanouškovských misí. Celkově mohu doporučit a hodnotím 8/10. Jde o jednu z lepších Londýnských tratí.

With reference to the ECML East Coast Mainline London - Peterborough Route Add-On. A highly recommended route add-on for the TS:2021 train simulator product. It's an excellent layout stretching a distance of 76 miles (122 kms). A great route for testing ones driver's skills out in the cab of a high speed train. The only disappointment with this route is that the branch loop line that runs between Bowes Park, Palmers Green, Gordon Hill, Bayford, Hertford North, Watton-At-Stone displays only signal items along the line. There are no visible scenery, stations or tunnels laid along this part of the loop line. Now searching for any future route upgrades and any addition scenarios in the Steam online Workshop. So, I have been playing this route for 2 hours now, and I have already did a few scenarios in the Class 801 and the Class 365, and I must say, for it to be only $20, you get a great deal. I got it on sale today at $10, making this purchase even better. There are a lot of scenarios to choose from, and while I don't have my scenery settings very high, the scenery is definitely pretty even on low game settings. It doesn't run too bad either, sometimes I get frame drops here and there, especially with the Class 801, but other than that, I don't think it impacts your FPS too much unless you are in a big train station. I definitely see me playing more of this in the future and maybe even for years to come, and I strongly recommend this route if you want to have some fun.
