Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Break free of the grid in Town to City: a cozy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community.
Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.
In story or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.
Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys. Freely shape the land beneath your feet with terraforming tools for elevation, water, and terrain.
Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base and plenty of tools for fine-tuning, it's easy to create something beautiful that you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode or stroll through in first-person view.
As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town, and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them with pets and livestock by their side.
Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling centre of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.

Reviews
I was honestly a little skeptical of this game, as I don't usually enjoy "blocky" art style games... However this game is addictive. if you have hours to spend, than this is the game for you. Its cozy, fun, and easy to follow along to. the UI is easy to understand, the gameplay is easy to pickup on, and if you get stuck, there is a whole Encyclopedia already in the game to use. I recommend it for sure.
THis is a very chill cozy game. It's progression system is rewarding and it never feels like you can fail. it's perfect for a quick place a few things and go to bed play style. there are some bugs one i ran into and is the most common is the dress shop needs artisian workers to function and there's nothing in the game that tells you this

This is a charming little city builder with a bigger focus on building something beautiful than on supply lines. I find myself building parks and markets and then sticking around to watch my citizens venture in to start enjoying them. Clearly, a lot of time and love was put in to make the environments lively. Children play on the playground equipment, people relax on benches and enjoy puppet shows. They even window shop. For me, those little animations and details really make it pop. I seem to pick it up most often when I'm feeling burned out. Something about building a tiny flower garden in an alley, and seeing the first person walk in and flop onto a bench, just hits for me.
This is a really cozy and relaxing game that I am constantly coming back to every few months to play again, and the regular updates always make that return so exciting to see what the developers have added. The game does a great job at adding progression as you go, which allows you to upgrade your town as you go without complete information overload to begin with. Likewise, the progression is just slow enough that it gives you the time to focus on making a good looking town rather than encouraging a rush through the progression system, while not being too slow. The visuals of this game are really appealing and there's such attention to detail such as being able to see the residents walk around and interact with the decorations you place (I love that you can see people swinging on the tree swing or lying down on the picnic blanket, it's so cute!!!). Listening to the soundtrack also makes me so happy, it's so uplifting yet peaceful. I would really recommend this game.
Usually not a big fan of city builder games, but I decided to give this one a try, and it got me hooked! I like that this game feels more about, at least to me, "make a pretty looking town" rather than about resource management, it's quite relaxing. I managed to unlock everything on the research menu in about 15 hours, but my main town only fills about 1/4 of the entire map, so there are still stuff to do. It can get a bit slow especially at the later part of the game, and it can get a bit overwhelming sometimes, but a reminder to take the game slowly as I'm not racing against anything keep me grounded. There are tons of buildings and decorations to choose from, and I love the fact that you can decorate each buildings (my mind was blown away when I found out that I can put lights on the doors / windows of a building), I'm excited for the upcoming update on custom houses. I do encounter a few bugs, mainly UI, but thankfully none of them are game breaking, and at worst, it can usually be fixed by reloading into the map. It also feels like the game is not greatly optimized, but still very playable. Love the art-style, love the music, love the theme, love the flexibility it provides, love how relaxing it is. Overall, quite a lot of content for it's price!
It's been some time since a city builder has impressed me like this one. It is so simple, yet detail oriented depending on how you would like it to be. Everything seems to boil down to personal choice other than the preferences of townsfolk. I highly recommend this game - if you want to sink your teeth into your own beautiful curated city.
Two nights in a row I lost 8+ hours while completely absorbed in this game. I'm not really a creative type. I mostly like management sims so I figured I'd give this game a shot. But it is incredibly intoxicating watching your little hamlets take shape and before you know it, you'll be meticulously crafting roads, decorative stretches, bustling downtowns. The game is really good. It's very moreish. You'll start playing it at 9PM and teleport to 5AM. IMPORTANT: My only gripe is that once you are in the end game (Grandiose City+) the performance really starts to tank. I was able to remedy this by disabling depth of field and motion blur. But people with less than capable CPUs are gonna be feeling it on this game. There's a lot happening behind the scenes to make this game work.
It's really fun and chill. It's so easy to create pleasant looking towns and villages. And yet there is complexity, which at the time of writing I'm still in the process of learning. Great game!
