吃像难看啊
Core experience is good, BUT, it is shackled by very aggressive, predatory pricing practices. The base game is essentially a teaser for the massive library of overpriced DLC. It is worth $15 at the absolute most, buy it only during deep sales. This model forces new players to navigate a confusing web between older titles and DLC packs just to access the "full" Immortal Empires experience.
Eventually, I was force-updated by CA to the tigermen update (which is unwanted and requires payment) and lost my 400-mod dignity. I had seemingly tailored and tweaked these mods perfectly for my playthrough — with zero errors or CTDs. I give up. This is a horrible combination of a lack of backward compatibility, the inability to easily switch game versions, and arguable paid content (tigers!). I know for a fact that this will repeat every few months. But what I love about this game is its modding community. It is full of brilliant, creative, and dedicated people. Thank you so much for all the good times I've had because of you! No thanks to you, CA game developers, who ruin my expanding empire every several months!
Don't buy this game unless you're willing to pay well over 100$ to get any content, you need to have bought the first two games and/or an insane amount of highly predatory DLC to get the amount of content you would expect out of a game that is still charging full price 4 years after release, which is unfortunate because the game itself is fun. People always say that getting into warhammer is expensive because of the cost of the minis but it has festered and infected even the game, i would have spent dozens of hours on this game and absolutely i would have recommend it to someone that wants to get into warhammer if it wasn't for the fact that the content you get isn't even close to justify the price point and to get the content that should by all rights be in the base game is going to cost you several times more than the base game did. Thank god that i played this over family share before buying so i didn't have to waste my money on this greedy, overpriced, piece of trash
very fun but the game is locked 80% dlc
really fun even though im bad.
1200 hours on TWWH franchise game is unplayable now. Hang errors and crashes non stop. I've spent countless hours trying every solution I can find online no change. Crashes occur randomly(Frequently) regardless of whether I'm panning the map, setting up a siege or actually participating in a battle. Even if I leave the game running afk it crashes.
great game!
