What more is there to say than what I wrote about the first and second parts? :) Once again, an absolutely perfect expansion of my most favorite fantasy world! The campaign is absolutely fantastic, and the Immortal Empires are now even more massive. Total War: Warhammer is a dream come true for me and one of the best strategy games ever! :) If I had to mention one criticism, it’s that in Immortal Empires, the arrival of the Everchosen isn’t a major event and no longer represents a real threat… I’m really disappointed by that :( But everything else is just perfect!
Alright...the good, the bad, and the ugly: The good: By far the most fun grand campaign in any of the TW games, or at least the ones I've played. Each faction has mechanics that *typically* make them feel unique and grounded in the lore and realm. Whether you're playing as Karl Franz trying desperately to unite your lands while watching your northern cousins get STEAMROLLED by Archon the Everchosen and his loose alliance of misfit skaven, norsca, and daemons. Or when the call of the WAAAAAAGH is just too overwhelming and you must once again call upon the hordes of Grimgor Ironhide. And who doesn't love sending waves of skeletons into enemy lines as the Von Carsteins cast devastating spells? But say you have a favorite playstyle? Well *luckily* for you, there's literally hundreds of dollars worth of DLC to sort through and find legendary lords that fit how you want to play. The AI on the campaign map, when it's working properly, tends to play how you would expect a game titled TOTAL WAR to play. There will be war, and lots of it. The bad: Despite the fact that there are several factions that are naval leaning, there is no naval combat. This is by far, my biggest complaint. Why would you label ANYTHING as naval combat when "naval combat" is ALWAYS played out on a land battle map? When did naval combat become irrelevant? I may be in the minority for the community, I truly don't know. But I think it is absolutely ridiculous that other, older titles were able to deliver naval combat but this one can't. I honestly think it comes down to laziness on the developers end. I don't think they can be bothered to figure out how to combine magic and naval combat. Unfortunately the laziness of Creative Assembly will be another huge one for the "bad" category. Do they update a lot? Sure. Do they listen to their fans? Only after getting review bombed. And to top it all off there is SO MUCH MONEY that you have to spend to unlock all the legendary lords that you have to shop deals and do it over a huge amount of time if you have, you know a normal life with bills to pay. And their lack of care for their customers and their greed has definitely cause major problems amongst players in the past and I truly doubt we've seen the last of that. The ugly: The lore of the Warhammer world is problematic. However, this is Steam so that's all I'll say here on that specific topic. What I will say is that this game, like many others in the TW franchise, suffer from late game Waritis [TM]. Scroll through YT and you'll find the same sentiment over and over, we love this game and want to play it, but the end game SUCKS so much that you have to create your own goals and criteria for a campaign after a while. Things like ranged only armies, one city campaigns, and low tier only are some of my personal favorites. However, I truly believe this could be solved if there was a more in depth diplomacy system in the base game itself. For starters, I think the simple change of allowing the player to confederate any faction with a high enough relational score would be huge. Imagine growing the Dwarven Kingdom so large and powerful that your long standing ally finally bends the knee to your power and now Thorgrim Grudgebearer sits on the throne of the Empire of Man. Is it "lore accurate"? NO! Of course not, but isn't the point of this game to be able to tell the story that we want to tell on that specific playthrough? Because I'll tell you that it's also not "lore accurate" for Elspeth Von Draken to sit on the throne but I've conquered the entire Old World with her more times than with Karl. My point is, the accuracy to the lore should and does only matter up to the point in which the player presses that "begin campaign" button. TL;DR Good- Unique grand campaigns for different factions, WAR Bad- No naval combat, greedy company that doesn't listen Ugly- Problematic lore + lack of in depth diplomacy between different races = boring late game Overall, in it's current state the game is very fun. Will it last? Who the heck knows?

Im just gonna write this here because idk where else i would put it. The part of the map that (appears to be the remains of India) Should be brought back as a pike man faction maybe do like an Alexzander the great type hero coming back for the rest of his conquest or something idk i thought it would be cool to have pike men in the game and i thought it could be a good idea
За империю! боже храни налётчиков!
