Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

start a campaign, immortal empires, get hundreds of heavy guys with underslung cannons raining metal upon enemy ranks while a heavier guy in a personal scooter rolls through them hitting them with a haunch of leg, set up laundering schemes in major ports around the world. get bored rinse repeat. A hell of a fun time.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 67.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't play this game, the normal battles are kind of fine but siege battles are horendous. Unit pathfinding just can't deal with it, you'll have units just running back and forth trying to find a path and just dying because of it. There's no real strategy aside from hoping that your units will actually do what they're supposed to do instead of just being braindead. Not to mention the constant cashgrabs with small DLCs.
its good, lots to learn but good
great game to say "go my chudlings" in
I used to play the Warhammer Fantasy table top, and this game is how I imagined it all in my head. Plus the strategic layer on top. Many people complain about the DLC's, but first of all - you don't need the DLC's unless you want the heroes/armies in those DLC's, and as a former Warhammer table top player I'll tell you that for the price of a DLC you get the entire army list. In the real world you wouldn't even get half a box of the cheapest infantry.
every single little patch they do you have to redownload the whole game
I mean it came free but after trying it & having the prologue CTD, then all special item missions CTD (yes high end pc, did all the B.S fluff for fixes, searched the vaults of the endless) I can say that Warhammer 2 is still far better than 3 & I would not bother even for free.
I've put almost fifteen hours of my life into this game -and it wasn't even *slightly enough* to learn all the systems, units, features, spells, and various unfortunate events that seem to befall me unexpectedly. Just not fun.
