If you can get it on sale i've enjoyed playing the game haven't played through every faction most likely won't but overall as a total war game its fun, AI feels dumber than usually though in campaign both in battle and in terms of campaign management. Other than that the graphics are nice and game has some cool units and the army recruitment system is cool. I mean if you enjoy total war and looking for another total war to try this one isn't a bad option depending on what you've haven't played I'd still argue Atilla, Rome 2, Medieval 2, Shogun 2, and Napoleon or modded Empire(base game is like purgatory) are the best total war games in the historical line and are better in my opinion than three kingdoms but still worth a try if you've played the best of what total war has to offer.
