BEST TOTAL WAR EVER
One I always come back to.
just finished a Hard/Hard Long Campaign with France which took me 26 hours without abusing any bugs and i must say this game rocks. Pros: +There are a lot of different units in game +Each nation is quite different from the others thanks to the units it has or doesnt have +Each nation has serious problems and oppurtunities based on its location on the map +Castles are quite different from each other and it makes the sieges interesting +Sİnce each nation is so much different then the others the game has a lot of replayability Cons: -There are bugs with the AI, you can simply choose not to use some of them but you cant literally avoid abusing some -A bug you cant avoid: in the late game Venice uses armies full of crossbowmen and half of the units are mercenaries, with some cavalry you crush them easily -a lot of AI nations use armies full of siege units in the late game which are also easily crushed by infantry or cavalry -The pope tells u to stop attacking an AI nation not to get excommunicated. Even if u stop the AI nation doesnt stop attacking you and gets excommunicated in a few turns and then they are free game for u
old but still fun
The campaign is a bit boring since the ai is so bad but you can fix that with mods and multiplayer battles really fun. Classic game.
