Good port of a PS1 precision platformer
It plays just like I remember it from the 1998 game. There's a decent learning curve to get the attacks just right and some platforming segments are pretty brutal. Also, it's missing some of the conveniences that modern Platformers have (example: You have limited lives) but it's still pretty fun to play.
You're a caveman saving dwarves, magical old prophets, mice people, mole people, meet some mermaids, a witch, big muscle dudes, some humans, a monkey named charles, a phoenix and a puppy... You're saving them from evil pigs that likes gold very much. This game is an open-world game through and through and all of the quests are really fun to do, even though it's a very old game, the game really aged well and I say give it a try. The one who made this game btw is Tokuro Fujiwara... A legend in Capcom, search him up...
Tomba! is still as challenging and fun as I remember from when I was a kid. The game has that classic PS1 charm with colorful graphics, weird characters, and unique gameplay that you don’t really see anymore. Some parts are definitely tough and can make you lost sometimes, but that’s part of the adventure and nostalgia. Playing this again brought back so many memories. If you grew up with Tomba, this is a must play. And if you never played it before, be ready for a fun old-school challenge!
Nostalgic and EXACTLY as fun as i remember it. Some of the button prompts do not match up, but it's not deterring in any way.
A fun game with an expansive world and a lot of quests to do.
What a great game. Had a few audio bugs when the music changed and one bug when using fast travel, but still a fun experience. If you like old games, definitely buy it. But beware, it shows its age.
Genial
Play the original instead, though
