I might recommend it if I didn't get told "hey this is the first act to future games" upon getting all endings. It turns a surrealist experience into a demo being sold for a future game that might exist at some point. As it is, I certainly do not recommend it.

You're not sure where you met this one friend you have but they are... weird. The kind of weird that you can't quite put your finger on. They seem to check all the usual boxes but... there's just something off. You speculate. Maybe it's their response time in a conversation. Maybe it's their off brand sense of style. Maybe it's their obsession with cults and topics surrounding them. You will never know for sure. One day, you have a get together with several other friends and find yourselves broken off into pairs and groups scattered around the house. You are on a couch with this totally normal but vaguely strange friend, a smile dancing on their lips, twitching to talk about something. "So uh... it seems you want to tell me something." You say politely. You move your gaze away from theirs as you clock an exit route from the conversation should you need it. "hehehe Oh yes. I've weaved a fascinating theory between some of the research I've been doing into Doomsday cults with Judeo-Christianic mysticism and reincarnation ideologies and I simply MUST spill the tea before it overflows the cup!" The exit seemingly disappears as your eyes meet theirs again and before you can agree to be a willing recipient of such knowledge, they are off to the races making your head spin with mental equations you never wanted to solve. Welcome to this game. Buckle in because there is no escape until it's finished. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Twin Peaks and Death Grips
Ok so this game is a point and click but it's so linear and simple I'll just refer to it as a visual novel A VN needs a good story to succeed since there usually is no gameplay. The story of this game is a bit incomprehensible- not because it's too expansive, but because there are some obviously connecting things that are spoon fed to you and some that are barely connected and coherent. This game has great visuals, good OST and some nice characters (also the dev must have some insane connections to be able to put some of them in, like MJ and MC Ride), but it falls flat in most other aspects. As much as people nowadays hate the phrase, it's fitting here: "Style Over Substance". It all looks great, but playing it is boring (repetition for endings, even basic VNs have custom saving and loading), the story doesn't make much sense and it feels more like random / funny / shocking moments stitched together. However, if the story continues in other media then there is a nice foundation here to improve.
I really hope this game got at least one person into Death Grips.
What a strange, disturbing, and fascinating game. This is a contender for the most unique game I've ever played. Super atmospheric, great artstyle, and really disturbing moments. Even if you're not a fan of horror or point-and-click games, I definitely recommend giving this a shot. It's short, cheap, and chances are, you'll like it.
weird, but since a great friend gave it to me its good
Review:
If there were a neutral review option, I would have chosen it. Critters for Sale is a surreal game that won't appeal to everyone. Personally, I was rather divided. There were aspects I enjoyed, such as the wacky characters, unique art style, and the gradual unraveling and piecing together of the story. However, there were also elements I disliked, including parts of the game that felt overly random and a sound design that occasionally hurt my ears. It's a unique point-and-click game, but for my taste, it is too heavily on randomness.
Completionist Review:
There are five different stories to choose from when starting the game, all of which are somewhat interconnected. Some stories feature multiple endings, including a few gag endings, a bad ending, a neutral ending, and a true ending. If you plan on playing this game, it's worth taking the time to unlock all of the endings.
The only game I'd recommend doing drugs before playing So weird but so awesome
