Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The game has been poisoned by AI slop and critical bugs. There was clearly no QA done prior to rolling out this garbage. Make this kind of trash opt-in DLC instead of forcing it on the user. I paid for a quality remaster of the classic games; not for some outsourced mobile gaming team to tack on all this garbage. Roll back the latest patch!
The worst birthday party ever...
UPDATE AT END OF REVIEW! PLEASE READ AFTER EVERYTHING ELSE! Yeah, if you had talked to me weeks ago I would've said "Tomb Raider I - III Remastered is a pretty good remaster with plenty of Quality of Life improvements, features, and basically no bugs whatsoever!" I'd be praising the game for how it was basically the best remaster anyone could buy on the market at the time! or that the new 3d texture work for the levels made the originally polygonal world feel a bit more alive! If we were talking right then and there, I'd simply just not say any of that! and simply say: "Buy Tomb Raider I - III Remastered! It's amazing!" It is now March 19th, and with full conscience, I can very much say otherwise with what I would've said! The game has turned to absolute sh*t. On Tomb Raider's 30th Anniversary year at that! So! One by one, let's go through all the issues this update brought to the table!
First off! Surprise update!
Normally I'm okay with this! I mean, who doesn't love free content being shadow dropped? I do! we all do! the only issue is that THIS free content features AI SLOP! The new outfits? Slop! not even the Underworld esque swimsuit can save this game. The new textures? Oops! also slop! Sorry if you really enjoyed the original textures, because these new ones are here to ruin everything.
Behold! A thousand glitches be upon thee!
Well, it's more like HUNDREDS of glitches, all affecting THE ENTIRE GAME. Apparently, the original versions of this remaster were tecnically outsourced a bit to Saber. explains why it was still the best remaster in years, but they couldn't GET Saber for this new patch, so what do they do? Hire a web 3.0 company to do this ♥♥♥♥! Sure! they added all this new content... but said content caused BUGS THAT LEAD THE GAMES TO BE 100% UNCOMPLETABLE! For instance, the final boss of one of the games? doesn't spawn in at all! One of the doors in another level? YOU HAVE TO NOCLIP AND CHEAT TO GET PAST IT. THE FIRST FMV IN TOMB RAIDER 1, LARA'S HOUSE ITSELF! THE PLACE EVERYONE GOES WHEN THEY'RE PLAYING TOMB RAIDER FOR THE FIRST TIME, IS NOT IN THE GAME NOW! IT DOESN'T PLAY!?!? HOW WAS THIS NOT PLAYTESTED!? I DOUBT IT WAS IN THE FIRST PLACE! OH WAIT, AND IF IT CAN'T GET WORSE! GET READY FOR YOUR OLD SAVE GAMES TO BE CORRUPTED! What's that? you were 99% done with Tomb Raider III? Oops! start again ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! actually, start EVERYTHING AGAIN! because we need to push this AI SLOP OF AN UPDATE DOWN YOUR THROAT!
Concluding thoughts.
This game is THE COMPLETE opposite of what happened with the Battlefront Classic Collection about 2 years ago. A rushed out port (Surprisingly ALSO made by Aspyr!) with so many bugs and glitches, they had to be patched out, up until a point where they just moved on to the next big thing... and still left plenty of bugs in the game. THIS game, started out as the go-to standard for a remaster, new and old graphics options you can switch from on the fly, Halo MCC style. New outfits that were made BY ACTUAL HUMANS, new lighting, a modern control scheme, This is the stuff we wanted! but with every patch after Patch 4, the game has become one of the WORST ways to play Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3. And knowing Aspyr, there will be NO more patches, this will be the game you get when you choose to buy it here and now, and you will NOT be having any fun at all!
Soooo, any alternatives?
Yes actually, if you've been living under a rock, there's the OpenLara engine for people who just want the original games in 60FPS with slight QOL improvements, also you can play it in VR! woah! But for people who want BIG QOL improvements, while also keeping the original games in tact, TRX will do the job just fine! So, until this remaster is patched or just straight up rolled back, I can simply say... DO NOT buy this game. unless you wanna use the files to play OpenLara or something.
UPDATE:
As of March 31st, A NEW update was launched to apparently fix all the new issues the Challenge Mode update had! Sounds great right? Bad news! it doesn't fix EVERYTHING! Plus with the fact it's been almost a full month without another patch, most of the ACTUALLY important bugs are NOT fixed, such as the final bosses being bugged, Missing HD textures in certain levels, and instead we got 10 bug fixes that are if anything, the BARE minimum when it comes to a BROKEN GAME, which like I said in the OG review was a MASSIVE problem with the Battlefront Classic Collection's updates. they took too long to come out and by the time they did, everyone STOPPED playing the game. Same with this one. So does my review still stand? YES. and until EVERY SINGLE BUG is fixed, it will REMAIN this way.
Originally, A 8/10, now a measly 2/10.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Update: As of the second patch that half-heartedly tries to fix some of the many bugs introduced with Challange Mode (pardon, 'Challenge Mode', they finally fixed the spelling), the game is still plenty broken. Stay on Patch 4. It's truly sad to see what Aspyr allowed such a stellar remaster to turn into. Good indicator for the future quality of their products. Patch 5 (Challenge Mode) spits in the face of what used to be an excellent remaster, and the devs that created it, Saber, who were not involved with any of the garbage this patch introduced; instead, Aspyr hired a company, 'Magic Media', that 'specializes' in blockchain/mobile games. From extremely likely AI-generated low-res Fortnite-esque outfits to game-breaking bugs to endless texture glitches, this is absolutely unacceptable. Someone, or multiple someones, at Aspyr greenlit this patch. They thought, 'Yep, this represents the level of quality we stand for.' If you're still on Patch 4, don't update, and if you have, look into Steam depot.
Keep AI out of Tomb Raider, Lara deserves better than this.
Things that bug me about the new patch for TR I-III remastered
1. The new outfits look horrible, made by AI and do not fit the character of classic Lara Croft 2. New bugs have emerged and now we have to yet again rely on community made mods to fix what the publisher has ruined 3. Old mods are now broken because of the publisher's whims and inability to work with the devs to deliver a solid patch that satisfies the end consumer. 4. No way for us to revert back what has been ruined on steam betas 5. Cannot find anything in the game on how to switch to the classic outfits (edit: I found out I can still change them from the glasses menu while playing a normal save) What is the point of this patch? the game had already been amazing without it. The only nitpicks I can think of are the 60 fps for classic graphics and gamma slider. ------------------ Overall, the remaster is a great way to play classic tomb raider, but this patch has ruined a lot of what this game used to be before it. This goes to show how much Aspyr has no visibility, clarity nor honesty with their end consumer and the dev Saber who worked on this game, and speaking of Saber, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS PATCH!!! so Aspyr; FIX, YOUR, MESS.
look how they mascara'd my girl.
Aspyr, you had one job!
This remastered collection was good enough for the players. The only drawbacks are that the remastered versions are too dark and the classic versions do not have a 60 FPS mode. So, what does the publisher do instead of addressing these issues? They add some terrible suits that don't fit the games at all, a huge amount of bugs, and a new challenge mode that wasn't really necessary (but is acceptable). They didn't even have the decency to let us revert to the previous version. Aspyr, you are an awful company!
Remove the latest patch.
The game in this current state is an absolute spit in the face, to both fans and the original devs for the game. Literally nobody asked for AI generated GARBAGE for outfits, that Lara herself would not be caught dead in and is an insult to Konrad's original vision. The fact that they released this, with minimal-to non-existent quality control, breaking the game completely and on Tomb Raider's 30th birthday, no less. Aspyr should never touch a game again, especially one as beloved as this. To make matters worse, they doubled down with damage control and denied any AI usage... which is a flat out lie, we know you've been firing staff and now you're left up schitt's creek without a paddle x Do yourself a favour and download the patch before this one and turn off auto-update. https://www.speedrun.com/tr123_remastered/guides/dipw4
The new clothes are hideous, an insult to poor Lara and to our eyes, repulsive. Bugs need to be fixed. There's no point in adding random, useless things if you're then bombarded with criticism for the bugs you didn't fix. In fact, you managed to add more bugs because you threw random content into the program.
