Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Great games if you want dangerously high blood pressure. Thank god for save scumming. Jokes aside really nice remastered visuals and is just as good as I remember although they will definitely test your patience.
This game just reminds you how spoiled we are in modern games, you have to think!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
TLDR
A great remaster of a great trilogy of games (TR3 is among my top 3 games ever), which is slightly marred by the buggy challenge mode that got patched onto it long after release. I recommend rolling back to the last patch before that mode as soon as you're done with the challenge mode achievements, most of which can thankfully be obtained in 15 minutes.
The Good
TR 1, 2 and 3 have always been great adventure platforming games with subtle horror elements, minimal UI and a real knack for bringing out the explorer in players. I'm sure many players first came to this franchise because of Lara's... assets... only to fall in love with the gameplay and level design. It holds up even 30 years later and it is amazing what Core Design got done with so little time and manpower (the games were infamously developed under some serious crunch conditions and a one-game-per-year schedule). Until the challenge mode update, this remaster polished and redressed the original games so beautifully and faithfully that when I first launched the game, saw the iconic main screen of TR1 in remastered glory and heard the first 6 notes of the main theme, I cried like a baby, as all the beautiful childhood memories of my time with this game came back to me. It is hard to describe just how much the original trilogy means to me, how much it shaped my tastes in gaming, and, as a female player, how much having a female main character in a game like this actually did for keeping me interested in games and invested in the medium. I am not being hyperbolic when I say that without Tomb Raider, I likely would not have become a gamer, and I likely would never have worked in this industry. This remaster provides all three games with beautifully upgraded graphics (if these are not your cup of tea, you can always press F1 at any time to switch back to old graphics), achievements that are not too easy but also not too hard and often reference long-running in-jokes from the community, a wonderfully whacky photo mode, NG+, modernized controls for those who want them (I learned the tank controls on keyboard as a kid in the 90s and to this day they are my preferred way to play the game), and some very welcome quality of life improvements (e.g. Lara being able to perform mid jump rolls even in TR 1, when originally that didn't become a thing until TR 2). The remaster also includes all the DLCs, some of which I had never played before.
The Bad
In certain places, the graphical upgrades have ruined the atmosphere of the level. For example, one of my favorite levels in TR 2 is 40 Fathoms. Many players hate this level, especially the start, but I love it! Starting the level in the pitch black dark with no idea of where you were and where to go, your oxygen meter slowly depleting while sharks circled you, was such a great, intense moment in the original! In the remastered graphics, you can see 50 feet around you and everything looks less saturated. Secondly, the challenge mode. It feels vibe coded and does not fit with the game at all. Look, if you want some randomization/additional playtime in your TR 1-3, just download lahm86's excellent TR 1-3 Rando (randomizer mod) from GitHub--it will keep you busy for hundreds of hours, without causing a whole host of new glitches in your game.
The Ugly
Nothing, if you're playing pre challenge mode. At launch, some achievements were outright broken, but I believe these are all fixed now. I did not encounter any other major glitches/crashes during my time with the game (before the challenge update anyways).
This collection is everything I hoped it would be and more. Linux users will be happy as well (I am), it does not need any special "proton", it just works out of the box. Getting Tomb Raider I through III (through VI for me) in a single package feels like opening a time capsule from one of gaming's greatest eras. These remasters do exactly what a remaster should do: preserve the original games while making them more accessible and enjoyable for modern players. The visual improvements are fantastic. The updated graphics respect the atmosphere and identity of the originals. The addition of modern controls alongside the classic tank controls is one of the best quality-of-life improvements in the collection. Long-time fans can preserve the original experience, while newcomers have a much more accessible way to enjoy these classics. What impressed me most is the care that went into this collection. These are not lazy ports. The games have been updated thoughtfully, with improved controls, quality-of-life features, achievements, and numerous fixes, while still retaining the challenge and charm that made them legendary. Playing through Lara Croft's early adventures again reminded me why these games became classics in the first place. The exploration, puzzles, level design, atmosphere, and sense of discovery remain remarkably engaging even decades later. Unlike many modern games that constantly tell you where to go, these adventures reward observation, curiosity, and problem-solving. Including Tomb Raider I through III (through VI for me) in a single collection is tremendous value. Whether you're a longtime fan reliving childhood memories or a newcomer curious about gaming history, this package delivers dozens upon dozens of hours of adventure. Most importantly, this collection treats the source material with respect. It preserves a significant piece of gaming history while making it enjoyable for a new generation. An easy recommendation for any Tomb Raider fan.
I really want to like this like I did as kid, but the controls are too clunky and even when switching back n forth between control sets and multiple attempts over several months, I cannot get to any pillars smoothly.
This patch 5 Looks like a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥!!!!!!!!!
Just revert back and let the remasters as it was
ai slop
The fact that you can't get Lara's outfits correct in the 2nd game is just pathetic, fix this broken mess! it forces the TR1 outfit in her home, and in the game, are you serious?
Tomb raider is probably one of the most iconic video game franchise in this galaxy. YOU HAVE TO PLAY IT! No more excuses now the remastered series is just awesome and gorgeous. GoGoGo bro!
