Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Never played this one as a kid but it mostly holds up today. Definitely recommend the enhanced mod as that improves the game a lot from the barebones vanilla release. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this but there are some annoying aspects of older game design that were frustrating. The worst of which for me, was having an alarm triggered when I loaded into another area/section of a level because I apparently didn't hide bodies well enough? This happened 3 times through my playthrough and it really didn't make any sense. The first two times, I was able to reload an older save and find the bodies, then move them to another location. But the third, during the bonus Kola Cell mission, didn't work so I'm not sure what happened. Apart from that, there was a fair amount of trial and error (read, save scumming) so I could experiment with the game's mechanics. There's a lot here and some of it is very clunky and inconsistent. However, it is very satisfying when you figure out how to successfully approach an encounter and the level design, while linear, does a decent job of letting you figure out things on your own.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I just started playing Pandora Tomorrow now. Since its the follow up for Sam's journey, The most obvious thing i recognize in gameplay difference is that Pandora requires more silent/Stealth gameplay compared to Splinter cell (2002) You will also recognise that there will be a bigger difference in shooting object's rather than enemies this is something that really frustrates me since the game forces you to play in one role and doesnt allow you to succesfully complete a mission by improvising you're own way. Overall im a big fan of Pandora Tomorrow! I just love the theme and the charm that the game has. but if you have played the first one and you compare it to Pandora you will feel/see that there is a slight disimprovement in gameplay mechanic. Which doesnt take away the fact that the game itself has a 2 year gap. And would mean that there should be a bigger improvement in gameplay and Game mechanics? Overall in my opinion there's a minor down grade in gameplay compared to Splinter Cell 2002 I would recommend to skip Pandora Tomorrow not because of the fact that it isnt a good game but just because it has a more strict gameplay compared to Splinter cell 2002
I woulnt call the controls sanely mapped, but im happy to report the game runs without problems atleast. If you can tolerate bad resolution, dated visuals and janky controls (if not why are you even here?), then you can get used to the so called MGS killer. Another big pro with this game is that its old enough to not require Ubisoft's god awfull launcher, so if you are a collector, i would suggest buying it NOW before they delist this game and replace it with a remake that does require Upay, Ubisoft Forget, Temu Steam, or whatever they decide to call their launcher now.
whatever happened to Ubisoft? Sitting on such an iconic franchise gathering dust.. this is my first time playing the classic Splinter Cell after growing up playing Conviction and Blacklist.. I can see why there is a split in the fan base throughout the modern instances. This game was definitely ahead of its time, and I think it stands out to be one of the most iconic espionage stealth games alongside Metal Gear Solid & HITMAN. It is a no brainer that Ubisoft can get well earnings developing a new Splinter Cell, but I don't think they're willing to roll the dice on that gamble, especially when they wait longer, the hype slowly diminishes, and it'll be a casual forgotten gem.
came out in 2002 but so far has been my favorite stealth game. does require some polish to play in modern systems though, like the enhanced mod pack made by Joshhhuaaa. the game has crazy mechanics that i haven't seen in a lot of modern games. lightings, and the gameplay dynamics affected by it are great. soundtrack is amazing. level designs are splendid. story is nice enough. overall a great experience that still plays awesome in 2026. amazing classic. works like a charm on linux too!
great game. played them a long time ago saw them for sale got them again. when games were just games. great times. it can be buggy from time to time. npcs can see you through walls. doesnt happen often so its not game breaking. great game overall.
Entretenido juego.
Really enjoyed it, deffinity a product of its time on some bits but it was still really well made. Now i gotta get used to a more modern gamelayout as a go to my name next game, no more using shift to jump for me!
