About
In this chaotic management sim, every shift is a fight to keep cars moving and cash flowing whilst appeasing HQ.
Hire workers, upgrade your tollway and survive whatever the highway throws at you.
From potholes to breakdowns, from UFO's to Zombies and worse. this road has no intention of making your job easy.
KEEP TRAFFIC MOVING
Every car is money, and every delay costs you. Staff your booths, clear blocked lanes, respond to incidents, and stop traffic from turning into a gridlocked mess.
HIRE AND MANAGE STAFF
Recruit operators, security and maintenance workers to keep the operation alive.
Hire the right workers for the right job and deal with their quirks. Keep enough workers on-shift to handle the chaos.
UPGRADE YOUR TOLLWAY
Expand your lanes, improve booths, repair the road and operate side-income streams.
A better Tollway means more income, more pressure and more ways for things to go wrong.
SURVIVE CURSED EVENTS
Potholes. Breakdowns. Crashes. Fires. Protesters. Zombies. UFOs. Each shift can spiral fast, and one badly timed disaster can wreck the whole operation.
KEEP HQ HAPPY
HQ expects results, even when the road is falling apart. Balance wages, repairs, upgrades, toll income, and emergency costs before your cursed little business collapses into bankruptcy.
BUILD THE OPERATION THAT ALMOST WORKS
Tollway Tycoon is about the satisfaction of a smooth operation, then the dark comedy of watching it all fall apart. Keep the cars moving, keep the money flowing, and try to survive one more shift.

Amazing fun sim game. Very solid for early acess. Always crazy stuff happening to keep you busy. Cant wait to see how it goes.
This is a charming little gem that warmed the cockels of my heart. I got to extract a lot of money from motorists travelling through a little valley whilst simultaneously dealing with aliens, frogs, asteroids, deers and more. This is really what it's all about. A metaphor for life. We have a finite amount of time in the light between two yawning, eternal chasms of darkness and the best way to use that sliver of existence is to increase fiscal surplus for HQ.
Enjoying this game. Day 1 helps you figure out whats going on and then random things start happening. Super strong deer, crashes, breakdowns, UFOs. Always something to do. Highly recommend
It's not an "idle" game - you have to actively play or your road will get blocked. It's a good game for when you have a podcast running in the background.
Odly satisfing to play, ghost were having a party around the poor commuters of the toll road, in one of games i lost quite a lot of cars to zombies!, also note the deer are very strong. No issues running on Linux,
game sounds ok and plays ok for a while then a constant barrage of issues happen that forces you to fix them or it ends your game and forces a restart. its not a fun idle game if thats what your looking for
An Interesting little tycoon game, fairly solid chaotic elements that have the ability to derail the most easiest of tasks and makes most simplest of quotas something you have to fight for or manage in unexpected ways. Keeps it interesting and challanging.
this game has inspired me to make a career change, i think i have found my new calling in life.
Hilarious comments in game
This is a really solid management sim that actually knows what it wants to be. You’re basically constantly juggling systems - traffic, staff, upgrades, random disasters and the game does a good job of keeping that loop active without turning it into pure chaos for the sake of chaos. What I liked most is that the game doesn’t just throw problems at you randomly. There’s a rhythm to it. Things build up, you react, you stabilize, and then something else goes wrong. But it never really feels unfair or like the game is just breaking for no reason. Even when everything is going to hell at the same time, it still feels readable and controllable, which is kind of the whole point of a game like this. The concept itself is also just fun. It’s not trying to reinvent the genre, but it does have its own identity with the mix of structured management and chaotic events. You’re not just optimizing numbers. you’re constantly reacting to situations, and that keeps it engaging over longer sessions. Easy recommendation!
