About
In this chaotic management sim, every shift is a fight to keep cars moving and cash flowing whilst appeasing HQ.
Hire workers, upgrade your tollway and survive whatever the highway throws at you.
From potholes to breakdowns, from UFO's to Zombies and worse. this road has no intention of making your job easy.
KEEP TRAFFIC MOVING
Every car is money, and every delay costs you. Staff your booths, clear blocked lanes, respond to incidents, and stop traffic from turning into a gridlocked mess.
HIRE AND MANAGE STAFF
Recruit operators, security and maintenance workers to keep the operation alive.
Hire the right workers for the right job and deal with their quirks. Keep enough workers on-shift to handle the chaos.
UPGRADE YOUR TOLLWAY
Expand your lanes, improve booths, repair the road and operate side-income streams.
A better Tollway means more income, more pressure and more ways for things to go wrong.
SURVIVE CURSED EVENTS
Potholes. Breakdowns. Crashes. Fires. Protesters. Zombies. UFOs. Each shift can spiral fast, and one badly timed disaster can wreck the whole operation.
KEEP HQ HAPPY
HQ expects results, even when the road is falling apart. Balance wages, repairs, upgrades, toll income, and emergency costs before your cursed little business collapses into bankruptcy.
BUILD THE OPERATION THAT ALMOST WORKS
Tollway Tycoon is about the satisfaction of a smooth operation, then the dark comedy of watching it all fall apart. Keep the cars moving, keep the money flowing, and try to survive one more shift.

Surprisingly good for a cheap early access game. Starts out a bit slow at first, but once you get past day 1 the weird stuff starts happening. Just when I thought I'd got things fixed after 2 booth workers called in sick, a war broke out. Devs seem pretty attentive as there have already been a few fix patches, the roadmap content is something I'm looking forward too.
Fun tollbooth sim game with relatively easy controls and game mechanics. There's a good amount of random events and activities that need your attention to keep it interesting so it doesn't just become an idle clicker game.
"For less than the price of a cup of coffee, you can have this 10/10 title..." But seriously, it is a super cheap strategy game. It has quirky and amusing interactions all while you work to build your tollbooth empire. Picked it up to sink a couple of hours into and support a new and interesting game.... Almost wish I didnt as "nek minnit" it was past my bedtime and instead I was sinking good ol cups of brown to stay awake and make progress. Anyway... its a good fun game and lets just say I will always honor the ducks strategic clearance, especially when he is "wearing a tiny helmet and refusing to make eye contact" (a direct quote from the game). Super addictive and the whacky tasks that come up comically enjoyable.
Super fun game, Cant believe i was addicted to making a toll road better, big foot kicked my ass
Got killed by ghosts, at least it wasn't zombies this time. 10/10 Game is already solid for an early access title.
I’m having so much fun with this game. It’s a pretty unique concept and has a really addictive gameplay loop. I loved all the silly references and chaotic events lol. It starts off very relaxed, but then it keeps getting more interesting and weird in the best way. Very easy to lose track of time playing this. I highly recommend this!
Played for several hours after downloading, it gets addictive! Stopped because of my self-imposed daily fun quota, which I have now met. That's all I'm allowed for today. Gameplay flows quite nicely, with a clear progression system. The events can be quite hilarious, such as nights filled with drunk drivers or alien abductions. I hear the dev is improving the game fairly regularly too!
Decent game, Decent upgrade Scaling. only complaint so far is game closes if you yourself get fired.
Amazing fun sim game. Very solid for early acess. Always crazy stuff happening to keep you busy. Cant wait to see how it goes.
