If you're looking for a completely unique gaming experience, To Be or Not To Be is it. This is not your traditional visual novel or point-and-click – it’s a full-on choose-your-own-adventure with countless hilarious options and endings. The humor is spot-on, often irreverent, and it takes Shakespeare’s Hamlet to places I never thought possible (but always wanted to see). The illustrations by amazing artists add even more character to the already witty dialogue. There’s something so rewarding about making a decision and seeing the crazy consequences that follow. Definitely worth multiple playthroughs to explore every ridiculous outcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great storytelling, humor, or just plain weird fun.

ซื้อเกมมาตั้งแต่มอต้น หลายปีมาก 8ปีได้มั้งถึงหยิบมาเล่นอีกครั้ง เพราะเป็นเกมที่อังกฤษล้วน ภาษาลึกนิดหน่อย ดิฉันใช้เวลาเก็บเวลภาษาตัวเองนานโข จนวันนี้หยิบมาเล่น เพราะย้อนกลับไปอ่านเชคสเปียร์พอดี เพิ่งนึกออกว่า โอ้ชั้นมีเกมนี้ในคลังนี่นา คิดว่าเป็นเกมที่เฉพาะกลุ่มในระดับหนึ่ง ถ้าจะให้สนุกก็คงต้องรู้เรื่อง hamlet มาก่อนถึงจะเก็ทมุกที่เล่น แต่ถ้าเป็นแฟนแฮมเล็ตแล้ว เกมนี้บันเทิงมาก ระบบเป็นเกมตัวเลือก หลายฉากหลายตัวเลือกเหลือเกิน แถมไม่รู้ว่าไอที่เลือกไปมันจะยังไง เลือกตามใจไปก็เกมโอเวอร์ เลยลองเลือกตามเนื้อเรื่องบวกกับตามใจตัวเองบ้าง เอ้อก็สนุกดี คิดว่าคนที่จะซื้อเกมนี้ก็ต้องชอบอ่านเชคสปียร์อยู่แล้วแหละ เกมนี้ก็แค่เป็นแฮมเล็ตอีกเวอร์ชั่นที่ไม่ใช่แปลไทย เป็นอังกฤษแบบเข้าใจง่ายกว่าของเชคสเปียร์เยอะ ราคาไม่ถึงหนังสือหนึ่งเล่มด้วยซ้ำ ซื้อๆมาเถอะ ส่วนมีเวลาเล่นมั้ยก็อีกเรื่อง เสียงพากย์สนุกดี ตัวเลือก ตอนจบหลากหลาย คุ้มราคา จำไม่ได้แล้วว่าตัวเองซื้อมาตอนราคาเท่าไหร่ แต่จะราคาเต็มหรือลดก็ได้ คุ้มสุด -(สปอยล์หนึ่งในตอนจบ ล่องเรือไปอังกฤษ)- ส่วนตัวชอบฉากจบนี้มาก เพราะในแฮมเล็ตเองก็ไม่ได้ลงรายละเอียดฉากที่แฮมเล็ตล่องเรือแล้วโดนโจรสลัดบุกเลย แบบตัดแว้บๆ แฮมมันกลับเดนมาร์ก ปล่อยเพื่อนสองคนไปตายละ แถมนี่ก็เป็นเมนโรเซนกิลเดน เพราะงั้นการที่เราสามารถทำให้เขาไม่ตายได้นั้น คุ้มค่าเงินที่อิชั้นเสียไปแล้วค่ะ

[h1] Excellent adaptation of a very funny Choose Your Own Adventure book [/h1] Unlike other Tin Man Games based on Gamebook Adventures or Fighting Fantasy, this one doesn't require any dice rolls (or does it?). It's a book where you decide the fate of Hamlet/Ophelia/Hamlet Sr. by selecting between various choices to advance in the story. The "default" Shakespearan story can be easily discovered thanks to a system of specific choice/decision highlighted with a skull but the beauty of this book is to go nuts and make crazy choices. It's not serious at all, it often breaks the fourth wall but this is what you wanted, hopefully... It's more of a reading thing and less a game, unless you want to try to reach all the endings (of which there's a lot due to the craziness of the author and his ease to derail the story). It's actually very well done and some part might end up repetitive but each characters' story, as well as the various branching stories are quite different and make for an enjoyable read. It is very well done, unlike older Tin Man Game titles which can appear more dated. It looks based on the same engine as the revised Appointment with F.E.A.R. The music also is quite good and match well the sequence that you are reading whenever it changes. Actually there are some sound effects which spice up even the "game"! All in all, I recommend this to any Ryan North's fans, as well as people who enjoy funny, cleverly written comedic stories. The presentation of the app is very well done and supplement well the original book.

This game is all text; thus, I feel it’s not enough ‘meat’ in it for most gamers. In addition, it requires to know the script for the play Hamlet, Prince of Denmark quite well. If not, a lot of the references will be lost. That set a side, it’s both quirky and funny to play.

For what it is it's a very neat Idea, the branching paths and ideas the games present are fun. The voice acting is ok, good enough for what it needs to be. I wish we got some more voice actors to add to the game. I hope this studio does some more great choose your own adventure style games!

Very funny game. Also alot of achievements to collect for my fellow achievement hunters ;)
