Titanfall® 2

My expectations for Titanfall 2 were very high, and I am happy to say that this game didn't disappoint me in the slightest. In terms of gameplay, Titanfall is a first person shooter where you can either play as the Pilot or as a Titan; in the first case, your movement is very important: double jump, wall running, sliding... Mastering the movement is a really ambitious and difficult endeavor, but even with the basics moving is satisfying. Overall, the guns are fun to use and pretty well designed, even if I find a few of them kind of lacking. Meanwhile, as a Titan, the gameplay becomes "heavier"; movement is still important, but the game does a great job at making you feel incredibly powerful in a different way. The different Titan loadouts feel fairly balanced and enjoyable. The campaign, while quite short (around 6 hours), has left quite an impression on me; the story is basic, but even still, it manages to make the characters (even if some appear just briefly) likeable, and the ending is fantastic. But the best thing of the campaign is definitely the level design: EVERY SINGLE level is exceptional and feels unique in its own way. Getting into the multiplayer today is very difficult, unfortunatly the remaining playerbase is very small, and sometimes even finding matches can take a long time: most gamemodes are pretty much impossible to play; but I still had some fun while playing.
