The game is a little clunky at some points, but I can definitely see the passion that the developer has put into this project. Wonderful atmosphere and writing, and I'm super excited for the next game!
Interesting game concept, but the UI is atrocious. The graphics and audio feel 20 years out of date at best. Buttons are scattered with no consistent design layout. Naming and tooltips are opaque. Things like rover manual control show up in the construction dialog instead of the rover dialog. It can be difficult to figure out what order to do things in: Go to map and click on objective, then click deploy pump. then send a drone there. then jump in the rover and drive there and complete a minigame. then wait for resources to collect. The submissions like "collect these items using the rover" are a chore at best. The graphics make the world boring and lifeless to travel around and the lack of clear objective means you just run around until you find something that lights up a green button.

Clunky interface. I really, really could have done without the racist slurs in the dialog. Absolutely nothing is added by using them.
Good game
gud
There's a lot of neat ideas wrapped up in this game and I really want to like it, but there's also a ton of bugs. Some of them are fairly minor like construction jobs remaining on your timeline after completing until you leave the screen and go back in, but some are game breaking like when I finished my shipment collector and the game just hung on the loading bar for it. The game breaking bugs wouldn't be so bad except that the autosave either didn't save in the last couple hours of play or choosing "continue" from the menu doesn't pick the latest autosave and immediately saves over that slot. Not sure which happened, all I know is I don't have the heart to redo all my work. There's also a lot of QoL that's just missing, and definitely some skills are more valuable than others. Just as an example, planning out your drones: Commanding your drones and seeing how many methane tanks you have at your base are on two different screens so you can't view both at the same time. Logistics lets you give your drones more commands but the closest lake is close enough that by the time your drone makes a return your base the tank it could have dropped off is full, and with such a small maximum number of commands and no way to orchestrate tasks between drones there isn't much efficiency to be gained by flying around, dropping off tanks and leaving before they're filled. Summary: Awesome concept, great characters, fun game loop but the bugs really kill it.
This is one of the cases where I regret the absence of a "Neutral" button. Titan Outpost has a good base - it is different enough from other CRPGs to be interesting, I found the story enjoyable, it has a good length, and it has multiple really different way to finish the game which makes replays an interesting possibility. For all this, it deserves to be recommended to CRPG fans. It is, however, buggy, not quite good at explaining itself, and suffering from a frustrating UI. Be aware of what you are getting into and be ready to be patient with it !
search for max in the reviews and they capture my grievances almost to a tee. This game is still full of bugs and it's not even that enjoyable. The simulation aspect of it is child proof so it really never tests your decision making. There should be a massive emphasis on story rich as that might be the only intriguing part of this game,
It was fun for the evening and it would be okay if it was an Early Access game. Mac version is not playable! A couple of hours in you get bugged physics and you can't proceed.
A unique take on the sci-fi genre. Creative, short, but engaging (once you get the hang of things).
