Exceptionally cool game! Unique combination of gameplay elements that I've never seen before. Expect some great sci-fi storytelling, interesting characters and tough choices. Special mention to the music. The game nails the atmosphere and it sucked me right in by the time it got rolling. Slow deliberate pacing at the beginning but really picks up after a while. Also, loading the outside of the base for the first time in a session can take a while but it's fine after that. No bugs as far as I could tell. Would definitely recommend. Picked it up on sale, but would have paid full price if I'd known beforehand how solid it is.
Best (and only) hard sci-fi RPG.

It took me some time to really like the game but after I learned how everything works, it's a very interesting and fun game. It has very memorable characters and interesting story lines with a lot of decisions and endings. Kudos to the developer for still actively supporting the game!
A good sets of idea, but the final result is not really worthy the asked price. For 5-6 $ this can be a fine game, maybe also for around 10 $ can be a good purchase, so, if you are interested, just checks for discounts. I will refund this, but I will look forward for the devs next project because, as I said, this is not a bad game, is just overpriced.
This game really captures the 70s vibe of science fiction. For a one-person development studio, it's an outstanding achievement in terms of character design, storytelling, and immersion. I can highly recommend this gem to any SF lover from the era of Asimov and Lem. Player decisions are really well integrated. There are a few minor bugs, but they are not game-breaking and can be mitigated thanks to the continuous autosave feature (e.g., when exploring some spots, the character is beamed out of the map at the edge of the map and cannot return, requiring the game to be reloaded – this is less helpful for permadeath settings, so I would not recommend this mode). I give it a definite thumbs up and am already looking forward to the sequel from the same universe, The Jovian System , and hope for even more lore from these stories.
This game needs more praise and attention. TO is a captivating old school RPG grounded in a solid, hard sci-fi core set. The game challenges you to make your solitary (at first) base of operations while trying to survive the realistically depicted harsh climes of Saturn's sixth moon. Expanding your base and making it self-sustainable is a challenging but engaging experience. Hint: grow 1-2 more hydro pods before you do anything. The ambiance of Titan is effectively creepy. Sound is top notch but the music becomes a little repetitive in the early stages. Thankfully the soundtrack reveals new tunes as your uncover more of Titan's surface. TO possesses decent leveling up mechanics. The game starts to truly take off once you begin to welcome co-workers at the base. There are several factions at play in the game's story and it's a good narrative so far. Especially recommended to old school RPG fans / astronomy lovers .
A fun sci-fi RPG with lots of interactivity and light base building. Recommended if you're looking for an open ended RPG.
An excellent and unique hard sci-fi CRPG. I really enjoyed my first run and I plan to try again with a different build in the future. It's one of those rare games that truly feels like the player has agency. With tons of different ways to conclude the campaign and complete your objectives. In fact, it's impossible to see and do everything in a single play-through because the way you build your character truly matters. That being said, it is not perfect. The survival aspects are really only a concern in the first couple of hours, and interesting/special events get more and more spaced out as the game continues. I really wish there were more instances of things going wrong, more struggle, more drama. Not to mention the game is rather buggy. There were multiple instances where I had to quit the game to fix it, and slightly more rare were bugs that persisted no matter what I did. For being created by a single person, it's a massive achievement and I can't wait to play the next game the developer is creating.
I don't say OT is a terrible game, because how would I know after three hours? But what I do have a serious beef with is the fact that it is not the game I thought I was buying. I thought, OT is a base builder buffed by a story. There is a dev interview on youtube, which supports this impression of Steam's store page. The interview said explicitly, that there is no combat in this game. The few "gameplay" clips (in lack of a review) on youtube support the base building focus even more. Everything I could find (including all Steam reviews) is saying, that it's a neat game, in which you're alone on Titan and have to survive somehow - and this "somehow" is made more difficult, because one has to figure out virtually every procedure the hard way without help. I am not afraid of this. I wouldn't play something like this all the time, but there's nothing wrong with a change of pace. So, I bought it. Imagine my surprise, when I earned the achievement "The Real Danger - Die by human hands" within 3 hours of gameplay. Turns out, environmental survival and therewith the entire base building aspect is nothing more and nothing less than what stands between you and a solution to The Real Danger. It is true, that there is no combat. One is actually doomed to work on bloody plumbing instead of getting the chance to throw everything but the kitchen's sink at the real problem. This game feels like a stint in a gulag, complete with a pickaxe. And don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with a pickaxe. Just don't try to sell me the hogwash, that what I can possibly accomplish with a pickaxe is making a difference for anyone but myself. If the story would be just background, one could ignore it. But it is not. This is an adventure game. It is the base building, which is mere background. If I would have known this up front, I might even have liked this game. Who knows?
Wow this is a cool concept. I don't really know how to describe it. It's an RPG but in a hard sci-fi setting, so you're not shooting laser guns, you're repairing a broken mining outpost so that you don't die of exposure, but also investigating a deeper conspiracy in the off hours (literal off-hours, time is tracked down to the second). It's the kind of game where I'm playing it once and already thinking about my next playthrough (My first guy is all practical operational skills, but I absolutely am going to have to try out a charisma build later on just to get a new perspective on the NPCs).
