TinyCraft Town has an interesting concept, but the execution falls short. The game suffers from frequent lag and freezing, making it frustrating to play. My save file was corrupted after upgrading my inventory, which was especially disappointing since I was close to earning all the achievements. The game play itself feels slow and unrewarding, lacking the sense of progress needed in a resource management sim.
Needs time. Hitboxes are clunky, both in combat, gathering minigames and item pickup. GUI is unintuitive and frequently blocks other elements. Game itself is very jittery in fram frequency, with animations cutting short or cycling partially. Audio also has an odd bug where it blares loudly even when volume is set to 0 with ingame settings at times. Not sure why, but I had to mute the game externally. Unfortunately I refunded this one, this doesn't look ready even as a demo, will revisit in the future though as the concept behind it looks interesting, dev just needs time to work on it.
Sadly, the game is quite clunky and still has a number of bugs. The workstation, for example, kept building stone blocks even after I walked away from it (I'm not sure if that's intended or a bug). But there is definitely a problem with the workstation: even though I have enough wood, it won't let me craft planks. I click to craft them, but nothing happens. In other words, I'm stuck and can't progress any further in the game.
At the current stage the game is filled with bugs which prevent you from doing a lot of things like interacting with certain objects etc. In addition to this the combat is extremely buggy ( the attack button registers 5 clicks for one) and one time the enemy unit just stopped attacking me whatsoever. The UI is bugged as well the museum quests show as completed while showing 0/10. The game version also says it's 0.29 or sth but the game is supposedly released. At this current stage I don't recommend this even if it's cheap

Relaxing game with plenty of things to do. The music and graphics are excellent. I loved the museum concept and the idea of hunting for rare items!
I'm the King and yet here I am slaving away to build my Kingdom while my peasant tells me what to do and rewards me every now and then with some coins :lilbudz:
TinyCraft Town is a game where you build and manage a village. The goal is to manage resources well, grow your economy, and enjoy the process of expanding your town while making resource production more efficient. Since it's in Early Access, the game is still being developed, but it already shows a lot of potential. The gameplay is simple but fun, and the whole idea of growing the village at your own pace is pretty relaxing. Managing resources and expanding your town makes you think strategically, but it's not stressful. There’s still some work to be done, but TinyCraft Town is shaping up to be a solid game. If you like building and management games, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on as it gets updates.
Charming pixel vibes and good music, this little game is perfect for kicking back and chill out! EDIT1: Is anyone else noticing major frame drops when there are large amounts of stone blocks being crafted or already crafted on the map?
The game is interesting, there is potential here. The music is great, very relaxing, and the initial activities are also great. One thing that would be interesting is to give the option to build in quantity. Overall, I recommend it.
