It's a really fun new take on the borderlands formula and the humor is awesome and the game mechanics are very much borderlands. 8/10
Very good game. I played it on playstation and I really liked it, only the main pair is that an enemy can approach from behind when you walk around the world and a round of senseless combat begins

Decent game all things considered. Kind of would be great if the Dragon Lord DLC wasn't locked behind the Chaotic Great Edition. Would be easier to obtain, for existing players but aside from having to remove and rebuy it on the same platform. But aside from the corporate greed part: the game has a large variety of builds players can play as, and is when it comes down to that sort of Action RPG system: a overall decent thing. In other words: recommending due to the RPG dual class system. There's no moral way I approve of the DLC handling.
This is a REALLY fun game. It's silly, imaginative, and beautiful. Ive been a borderlands fan for a long time but never gave this a chance because Tiny Tina sometimes annoyed me. Im sorry I waited. This game feels so much more fun than BL4. It plays similar to BL3 but is just more fun. Claptrap is annoying again (in a good way if that makes sense), the humor is silly but hasnt made me cringe. It feels like every silly idea that people had for BL3 or BL4 got put into this game. The engine runs so well too. The graphics are beautiful with really impressive lighting and detail. Many times, while playing, i wonder "where did things go wrong? this game is excellent and bl4 runs horribly". Im using a 9800x3D and a 5090. This game averages about 300 fps. With bl4 i need to turn on 4x mfg and I still dont get those frames, or take as many screenshots because "wow that looks awesome!". It runs worse and is less beautiful. If you were like me and avoided this game, wait for a sale and play it and have fun! it's been a blast

Before you decide to buy this game,ask yourself these questions. 1) Did i like Borderlands 3? 2) Did i like the Tiny Tina's DLC on Borderlands 2? 3) Do i like Dungeons and Dragons? Well,if the answer is "yes" just buy the game.It plays like Borderlands 3 and it's a mix of all the above mentioned games.There is nothing to not like in this case. Besides this though,there is a huge downside. I really don't know what they were thinking,but the vanilla game will keep you interested for one or two playthroughs. My advice to this? Finish the game on vanilla,then mod it and start over with a new character.It's a whole new experience if you do.
