I absolutely love this casual caslte builder. It might seem overwhelming at first since there is no tutorials, but that is just part of the charm as you learn through experimenting and trying diffrent placements and combinations. It is quite something to see how your small caslte changes as you figure new mechanics out. Wonderful game. I am hooked. Playing on the Steamdeck Oled 1tb.
A bullet list with all of my pros and cons are below this :) It's an extremely relaxing game that's helped me settle down for an hour here and there after a stressful day of work or when my anxiety is particularly high. I love the sheep (especially with the birds on their heads), it's fun to build different kinds of settlements, villages, towns, and castles, and overall it's a good game! I'm sure I could build some more truly extravagant settlements with a couple more hours of gameplay, with controls that are fairly easy to learn. There are a couple of downsides for me, such as that it does feel a little isolating without anyone actually living in the places we can create. Some people might actually prefer this, but for me I just feel lonely. There also isn't as much variation in building styles and decorations as I initially thought, so my builds kind of start feeling like the same thing, and I'll usually stop playing because I'm bored. Wooden homes would be really nice, for example. But if you enjoy cozy games, or want something to do to fill the time that doesn't feel like a chore, then I think this is a good game for that! Also new-gamer friendly, as I feel that the controls were overall easy to learn and get used to! TLDR; Pros: - Very very relaxing, good for my anxiety - Sheep - Sheep with birds - Beautiful graphics - Wonderful soundtrack - An okay variety in what kinds of places you can build - Easy to learn and jump into with minimal help - Camera function is great for getting atmospheric screenshots of your builds - Day/Night cycle is fully controllable, can be locked, and the position of the sun and moon can be changed Cons: - A little isolating with no human NPCs - Less building styles and decorations than initially thought - The flag/banner snapping sometimes attaches to places I don't want it to go, although it's not a game-breaking issue - Sometimes things like stairs, doors, or archways don't always align where you want them to go - No indoor decorating

游戏是好游戏,可惜我可能实在不适合玩纯建筑的
super detailed village build sim no distracting characters just building!
A really good game, very well polished and fun to play, with great music and sfx
A really fun and relaxing game but can be a bit difficult to learn how to use since the game doesn't teach you how to play. I found myself needing to look up tutorials for things I just couldn't figure out in game like how to place doors and how to to make gates and archways. Along with how to get animals to go where I want them to go. I actually bought the game like last year but only played for 112 minutes at the time before quitting because the lack of explanation of how to play made me feel overwhelmed.
Its undoubtedly the best relaxing game I have ever played. The gameplay, art style, soundtrack and everything else is amazing. Just one improvement I am looking forward to is expanding the play area where we can build different things. Just need more space to create larger structures and it will turn gold into a gem.💎
Relaxing game as it can be
So glad I got this. I think the main reason this gets such good marks is because the controls are so buttery smooth. It's just a plain joy to use. You can almost do it with just the mouse and I found it super intuitive. I just knew how to use it right away. It will be great for making reference shots to use. or to just relax with. The only thing i would say is you are stuck in the general medieval look it has. Looks good though. Here's to hoping for many cool asset packs for the future.
whimsical, magical, dynamic, and fun!
