Powiew świeżego powietrza do świata VR.
Do you want motorcycle arms? Because if you play this game you get motorcycle arms. The environments are a little plane and there only seem to be two tracks, but what's here is fun. If you get motion sickness in VR stay away.
Although content wise it currently may be a little weak, I really enjoyed this game. It is a lot of fun being able to hop on the various tracks and speed your way through the environment! The half pipes and ability to do "tricks" is also quite fun once you get the hang of it. Definitely worth the $10 price tag and once more content is added it will make the purchase that much more worthwhile!
Even at this early stage it's a lot of fun and well worth the asking price. A fantastic example of "could only work in VR"
THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
I actually got this game on sale for $2.99 USD and thought that was a great deal in the Steam Summer Sale 2018. Little did I know this game's price would go even further down to .89 cents in the Steam 2018 Winter sale. Well, I finally got around to playing it and yes, this is an easy recommend at .89 cents. I'm not sure there is a better paid game lower than this pricetag. I would call this an open world racing game with very few actual goals, other than having fun and trying to get good timed scores on the tracks that do show up every so often. You basically have motorcyle hands that thrust you forward and then you get 5 boosts to propel you even faster or jet you into the sky. You get more boosts by keeping your hands on the road. You can even perform some tricks in the air by mastering or at least cajoling the pressing of the grab button, although I personally found it finnicky at best. Either that or it takes a truly skilled master to consistently do a trick. You have a huge game map to explore and discover. This game is definiteiy the older spiritual brother of the great game, Jet Island, but nowhere near as polished or as fun. However, for .89 cents you're getting a pretty nifty game at a very discounted price. I had fun, but you should also know this game is limited by its design. Sometimes it feels like there's nothing to do. Other times, you feel like an absolute rockstar for finding a way to jump from one course to the next seemlessly and flawlessly. Courses go sideways, up, down, with huge gaping holes in between, that you'll have to figure out how to navigate. There's even this rocket league inspired game in the middle of the map that you can play online with others ... if you can get it to work and if you can find anybody else online. Yup, you guessed it, there really isn't anybody online so your best bet is to have a friend who owns this game too. Sale Price Rating 7/10.
It's a fun game and worth it on sale; but, I wish it had smooth turning. I can only play it in a swivel chair or standing and the cords get all wrapped up around. Definitely want 360 tracking room scale for this one.
This is an extremely fun and very unique game! I saw it while browsing some VR titles and was hooked. It looked so fun to play. The races seemed cool and the stunts I saw in the trailer were amazing! I figured its only 5 bucks and I've almost got that much value watching the trailer 3 times back to back. So happy I grabbed it! Racing around was a blast just zooming around these crazy hot wheels like tracks trying to balance going as fast as I can without launching my self off one of the turns! The stunts took me a few minutes to kinda figure out how to time the spin grip button but once I did I was having the time of my life!! I spent the next good chunk of time spinning and barrel rolling all over those snowy mountains having a blast! I ended my session tonight by jumping into the online servers and did a race. I saw after that I have #9 in one of the race leaderboards on the steam page. So if any of you guys that used to play happen to see this just know that its time to come back and defend those titles or I'm going to slowly climb to the top of all of them!! See you guys in there hopefully!! Also for what its worth the soundtrack is SO GOOD! "The Spin Wires" get a good spotlight in this game and for good reason! I love the tracks "Aren't You Worried" (from the trailer) and "Girls Like You"!! The "I Love It" cover is fun too lol. I've already added them to my Spotify playlists!!
If you're more experienced in VR and not so easily impressed, this will bore you within minutes. At no point did I feel like there was any sense of weight to what I was doing... the physics just felt off. I've played a LOT of VR games and even make my own with Modbox, and this was surprisingly lame. This should be a 99 cent app, not $10 or even worth the $3 sale price I paid. Lack of any major update to a paid EA game, so take that into account as well... this is probably all there will be. They shouldn't have released it so unfinished like this. Refunded. Edit: The very next day there was a large update, however it seems to only address the amount of content and nothing about the game feel. I don't feel connected to the ground... I don't feel like both wheels truly control you... I feel like I weigh 10 lbs instead of 400 lbs like a human being strapped to giant wheelie arms would! You can add more levels, content, or waste time playing with ball physics, or you could spend more time making the underlying game more satisfying to play!! Right now I feel like I'm playing a budget title on Google Cardboard. So far I've seen two of the biggest mistakes you can make on EA: 1) releasing a very unfinished product, charging for it, then making people wait months for any real news or progress. 2) focusing on content first, and gameplay and game feel second. That's ass backwards, and any good game developer knows it.
This racing title is rather unique as you controls the wheel with your arms holding the motion controllers. Take for example, to jump you have to swing down both controllers in a 'push down' to lift yourself up. Its like strapping the wheels to your arm. There's air boost in this game, useful when you are jumping across the gap of the tracks, giving you more air time to perform air tricks Hoping to see more environments in this title
