Schönes Spiel. Wirklich. Super Sache :)
I'm going to say yes? But. I signed up to play an RTS with building and defending and resource gathering and management. I did not sign up to play a MOBA with bad map design. I don't want to randomly have to control only ONE character who makes stupid decisions where I can't see what's going on half the time because she's behind something and then dies to an explosion that is either always too close or too far away and for some reason hangs in the air even after the animation is gone. I don't want to have to rely 1000% on the Attack Move button which does all the heavy lifting. I want to play an RTS.

Finally played the campaign and it was okay. There are three types of maps. The normal maps are great, while the hero maps where you control your hero and maybe a couple of units through the map are decent but nothing special. Lastly there are swarm maps where you place your units and watch as they devour the infected. They really didn't add anything to the campaign and felt like a missed opportunity or a half-baked idea. Overall, I think the game is an 8/10, probably the best in this genre.
I love and hate this game. If a single zombie slow-motion waltzes into your base, that's usually unsalvageable, game over. This game is as much a micro-management and attention-to-detail game as it is an RTS, making it kind of unique. I loved it for a change of pace. Very unforgiving. The beginning was brutally hard on normal mode, losing missions 5+ times in a row, the middle was a breeze once I adapted to being very thorough, and the end I was barely scraping by. I think the pacing of the campaign was perfect, although some missions dragged by, and then I lose attention for a few seconds and mission over and have to restart. I am really hoping for a AA sequel to this game with improved graphics and cutscenes, because the campaign was cute, but really campy. If you like RTS, and can tolerate attention to detail, play this game.
Great!
