Reviews
muito bom e dificil
非常好
Is this the best RTS/Tower Defense game ever? No. Is it going to redefine the genre? Also No. Are you going to have a fun time? Yes! There have been days that, despite its faults (looking at you Emperor, ya dork), all I can do is think about getting home and loading this game up. Absolutely worth the money I spent and then some.
They Are Billions: Comprehensive Review
Core Concept A steampunk real-time strategy and base-building survival game where players must construct and defend a colony against unimaginably massive swarms of infected. Resource management, chokepoint fortification, and rapid expansion are crucial to survive until the final, screen-filling wave.
The Strengths

Tension and Scale: The custom game engine brilliantly handles tens of thousands of individual zombies on screen simultaneously, creating genuinely awe-inspiring and terrifying siege moments.
The Survival Loop: The core survival mode is an incredibly addictive, high-stakes puzzle of balancing economic expansion with military defense. You can pause the game at any time to issue commands, turning frantic clicking into thoughtful planning.
Steampunk Aesthetic: The Victorian-era sci-fi art direction, complete with steam-powered mechs and gatling guns, provides a unique and visually striking identity.
Unforgiving Challenge: The brutal difficulty makes finally surviving the final wave an immensely satisfying and hard-earned victory.

The Weaknesses

Disappointing Campaign: The highly anticipated story campaign suffers from tedious hero missions, repetitive objectives, and a poorly balanced tech tree. It pales in comparison to the stellar sandbox survival mode.
Snowballing Failures: The game is famously punishing; a single stray zombie slipping past your defenses can instantly infect a tent, causing a rapid chain reaction that destroys hours of progress with almost no chance to recover.
Lack of Mid-Game Saves: The forced "ironman" style auto-saves prevent you from save-scumming. While this adds to the tension, making a minor mistake and losing a two-hour run can be profoundly frustrating.

The Verdict
8.0/10 An absolute triumph in base-defense RTS design that will push your multitasking and strategic planning to their limits. While the campaign is a letdown and the punishing difficulty isn't for everyone, its core survival mode is a masterclass in tension, atmosphere, and defensive strategy.
