About
A small adventure with a big story. Theropods takes around 2-3 hours to finish. Perfect for an afternoon or a relaxed weekend.
Wordless point-and-click adventure — no dialogue, no subtitles, just animation, sound, and visual storytelling.
An unlikely friendship in a hostile world — a wordless story of bravery, trust, and survival.
Brains over brawn — outsmart dinosaurs, distract barbarians, and puzzle your way out of deadly situations.
A vivid prehistoric world — trek through jungles, valleys, canyons, caves, and wild dinosaur territory.
Gorgeous hand-drawn pixel art brought to life with cinematic frame-by-frame animation.
An immersive soundtrack blending tribal rhythms with eerie sci-fi synthesizers.
A glowing stone crashes from the sky into a young hunter’s village. Its arrival draws a bloodthirsty tribe, who attack the settlement and enslave her people.
Barely escaping into the jungle, she discovers the stone’s true origin: a stranded spaceman whose damaged pod depends on it.
Together, this unlikely pair must cross dinosaur-infested lands to free her tribe and find a way to send him home.
Theropods is a classic point-and-click adventure built around visual logic. Watch how characters move, how creatures behave, and how each scene changes as you poke, prod, and experiment.
Instead of fighting your way through danger, you solve your way through it — distracting predators, avoiding enemies, triggering reactions, and finding clever ways past situations too dangerous to face head-on.
Theropods replaces dialogue trees, long conversations, and text walls with gestures, expressions, sound, and visual storytelling. The story unfolds through action: what characters do, what they notice, and what changes around them.
With no subtitles or text-heavy exposition to translate, the adventure is built to be understood by players anywhere in the world.

Sideways thumb, really. This looks great and is genuinely entertaining but I can't possibly recommend it with any enthusiasm. It's very short. It can be 100% completed in one playthrough of approx. 2 hours. It's extremely linear and limited. There's no real exploration and each part of the game takes place in isolated screens; no going around and investigating different parts of the game world. There's puzzles but each one involves interacting with only a tiny amount of items & hotspots so can be solved with only minimal experimentation. I didn't have a *bad* time playing this but bear in mind the above before playing it.
An enjoyable little point-and-clicker. The pixel art is nice and the story well told. Don't expect a free-roaming puzzle adventure, this is more in the style of linear scenes with relatively quickly resolved trial and error sequences of actions. I played through it on release and there seemed to be a few bugs and/or farfetched situations but not too much friction really. And for mah dinosaur autists out there: The game heavily markets itself as a dinosaur game, both with the title and press material. Dinosaurs are however a very tangential part in this. They play little to no role in the actual story at all. The story is about women caught in the middle of hunter-gatherer tribal warfare in a universe where non-avian dinosaurs happen to be contemporaries. Dinos make small appearances here and there, usually colourful and fun pixelated recreations. But don't expect any scientific accuracy nerdery, behaviours, or dinosaurs as actual characters in the story. (Well, the big bad one has some influence, but not really as a character of it's own - it's more of an archetype for the main characters childhood trauma.) Even so, I would recommend a playthrough unless the dino thing is a dealbreaker. Maybe a bit pricey for it's scope at full prize but it definitively feels like a project that had some love and care put into it!

Randomly saw launch trailer for this game yesterday and got interested. I like the pixel art and characters. I like the visual storytelling here. After completing the game I think a lot passion has been put into it and hope these devs will have the means to create more awesome games. What I think could have been better is having multiple endings (at least I only found 1 so far). Or some alternative paths. I think there could have been interesting paths to explore with the premise and story bits we got. As for puzzles they were nice and contained but something like new game + with new choices or puzzles that have elements progressing multiple areas or scenes. Summary: While the game isn't perfect it's charming. I'll give it 8/10 as it was fairly enjoyable experience
Very charming and lovingly designed point and click. So far not the hardest difficulty but definetly worth your time. Try it if your desire for another point and click adventure has grown big enough. Recommended.
Wonderfully wordless!
Really fun little game. Artstyle is great and nice to look at. The puzzles are very simple but still fun to do. Not much bad to say, but the menu can be a little confusing at first since there is no text. The game is very short but very much worth the price.
"Uhlla uhlla!" https://youtu.be/yz4TJ5ZR9n0
This game has a very nice look and is very charming but the gameplay drags. I don't believe this game is worth its price even on Sale. No offence to the Devs. I want to give this a thumbs up because I do like the passion behind it.. but I have to be honest. There are a lot of other point & click games out there that offer more and cost less. One that came out recently was The Silver Crow. It's a very high quality P&C for a great price. Theropods is ok, it's just too expensive IMO. I play some of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbjIy1BDNpE&t=3099s
