Not their best work. I feel pretty let down by this game. Gone are the good graphics, pleasant story lines, and good game mechanics. You can still upgrade food but each item only once, which is a real let down. Anything that requires grilling takes forever to complete and there are no speed increase upgrades in this game. The graphics are really terrible . I don't know, all the charm has been removed. With the push to mobile games that's where to focus is, dumb down a great series and make it for a touch screen then just plop it on PC as an after thought. Disappointing.
So I've had a lot of issues for several games now but this one kind of takes the cake. It's definitely led me to finally start writing down my issues with it. I don't know that I'll be purchasing anymore Delicious games that come out after this which is sad. :( It's just harder and harder to appreciate the good parts between the terrible writing and everlasting bugs. I hope they put the older Delicious games on steam someday. Until then -- here is my parting love letter, where I'm more miffed than loving. Enjoy! Technical issues: - BUTTONS OFTEN DONT RESPOND. I can't stress enough how much of a sin this is for a game solely about clicking buttons fast. The issue because increasingly frustrating when you're manning any type of grill or oven and especially when you have, like, four - It's been like this for several games now, too. Like they've just settled into a formula and don't even think to fix things - In challenges where you have to fix the cash register, they'll only fix it if I click the correct small corner on the upper right side. So I end up clicking to fix it several times while I'm wasting the workday and losing hearts - In challenges where you have to catch all the mice, the mice placements are randomised to the point where they'll easily show up behind people, where they're unfindable, resulting that in some worlds, or just in any but on a higher difficulty, that you can't catch enough mice even with the timer boost Story/philosophical issues: - Delicious games have always been "mom games" but the newer ones are just taking it way too far. There's a difference between pandering to your audience and excluding other audiences, and ultimately I think this will lead to Delicious growing outdated VERY fast. I mean, it's already getting there for anyone under 40. I mean, I get that a 25-year-old is not the target audience but that shouldn't matter! I can't stand Patrick anymore now that they keep making him into a puppet for "am I right, ladies?!" memes. Like you can't just bounce back from making him do dumb stuff in every newer game, not to say make TWO WHOLE GAMES be about him doing very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things. He's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy, lol. There's no bouncing back from that when they're, you know, not bouncing back from that, or attempting to balance it out. - FRANCOIS. Francois is my favourite character and he's the only redesign that I really like a lot more! It suits him very much. But Francois is a huge pitfall they're stepping into. For every game they just make him more and more stupid and more and more gay. They make him say "GUUUUURRRLLL," without letting him actually be GAY. LET FRANCOIS BE GAY. COWARDS. They literally had gay girls in this one. Or I think they did. Honestly the writing is so bad that it's hard to tell. - In general the writing is so cringy. Like yeah, Delicious should be cringe but in the way where Emily, or someone in her circle, grows from it. My personal favourite Delicious game is Home Sweet Home because characters aren't stupid or cookie cutter clichés (which even the main characters have become at this point, which is just. lazy). Everyone was trying and Emily just had to gently nudge them in the right direction. The fact that they've reduced Emily into "Wife character who likes to help people" is just sad. There's no drive behind why she wants to help them anymore. She just does it because that's her whole identity. - No one has a personality anymore. It's just references but in a baby voice or boomer mom memes that deteriorate the characters. It makes you not care about the characters and then not want to play the game First Stage, whoever you are, fix your games and fix your attitudes. I see the credits, I know you're mostly men. If you can't write games for women then get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ woman in there. It's not that hard. Bye

This series has always been one of my favourites but I've been so frustrated with this latest addition. The story this time is very weak and it seems like very little was added to the gameplay. Apart from one stage introducing a table for six, it's no different from anything we've seen before. The menu has only one upgrade available for each item and the RNG for these items to be requested by customers is incredibly unbalanced. I can only assume this is to artificially force the player to replay the game as one of the achievements is to unlock every item menu. However, if at the end of 10 levels and challenges the chilli has only been ordered 4 times and you need 50 to unlock the next...you can imagine how annoying that can be. This has been the case for every stage I've completed in this so far. Finally, there is still a serious bug in level 4-1 where you are unable to fix the cash register in the challenge. There has been no attempt at a fix for this and the only workaround was discovered by other players. This involves pausing the game after this happens and it (sometimes) working when you've unpaused. Ridiculous! As I said at the beginning, I have always enjoyed this series so it's been very sad that I've felt so frustrated with this one. Unless you're a completionist, I'd recommend giving this one a miss.
easily the worst game of the whole series. if you're a completionist expect a terrible grind fest. why? well... 81 steaks. 1 or 2 per scenario. so you'll be stuck on stage 3 for at least 40 times. sounds fun? well then this game is for you. otherwise, wait till you get it for free or better don't buy it at all. clearly none of the "developers" played through it. rarely do you see such a bad game design. i really loved the series, but this is too much.
- Comments on this game: The worst title from the franchise. Nothing new, unmemorable story, many items rarely ordered hence difficult to upgrade, needs replay three-starred levels to get enough money to unlock decorations, etc. Play it only if you really love Delicious Emily and want more of the same experience. - Comments on the franchise Delicious Emily This franchise is part of my wife's childhood gameplay memory. I bought it to play with her, and I enjoyed the whole franchise thoroughly. Almost every game from this franchise is a great time management game with a superb story and appealing graphics. The mechanism varies slightly from game to game, so it does not feel too repetitive. The progression of the coherent story, the different restaurants, and the new items to serve are compelling enough to make you play title after title. If you are interested in time management games, I strongly recommend getting the Delicious 8-in-1 Bundle, and playing them in release order. It is a pity that early titles from this franchise are not available on Steam. So the franchise on Steam starts from Emily's New Beginning. However, three previous titles before New Beginning (True Love, Wonder Wedding, Honeymoon Cruise) are free to play on Apple Store, so don't miss them! They should be played before the 8 titles on Steam, since their stories set the premise of the 8 following titles. - Comments on the developers: The developers, GameHouse, do not seem to care too much about their games. They just release their game and then disappear. Bugs are seldom fixed (well, you can see on SteamDB that the depots of some titles are last updated even before the release). The worst of all is that traditional Delicious Emily games are somewhat abandoned, probably because GameHouse cannot milk much money from them. Instead, they have now switched their attention to developing a mobile game Delicious World with tasteless stories, boring and repetitive gameplay, and microtransactions. Shame!
this is a classic delicious game if you have played a delicious game in the past and liked it - you will enjoy this one cute time management game
I recommend not those setting please play on beginner to see how game advances to your liking for some reason beginner -> easy means clients will patient and if you play normal impatient level is increased to abnormal level I would think hard would nightmare level? Maybe someone would have check if that really true? LIke: shop was different Dislike: levels were not balanced and some challenges could and couldn't be done? Some of your challenges on other games could be done but this one I have take screenshot because there missing orders of clients requesting items like for example there should been banner smoothie day? Yet people still ordered other orders making difficult order finish the challenge. Personal opinion: I think game set image people taking vacation away from home. in cartoon form rare. Normally people stay at home and take break and nap versus take risk going outside.
