Way of the Hunter

Honestly, so much potential but so silly in practice. I'm a hunter and seeing a 30. 06 (once considered a Rhino worthy gun) or even a 375 H&H Mg. (a literal elephant gun) failing to penetrate a moose's ribs at 150 - 200m, consistently. Some of these guns are literally not allowed in many places because they are too big or other guns recommended for animals small enough that they would destroy both meat and hide. There are other problems and plenty of strengths but this is the one that just keeps making me want to toss it totally. An Elaphant gun with a great shot on an elk or moose and not getting points because it's weaker than a 22LR.

Hope it will become more realistic. Like if you shoot animal in the legs, they will move slowly. In that game, if you shoot in the leg or any vital organs, the animal move faster than normal. Hard to see the blood trail due to over lapping trails. Please hear me out, I love the game.

I cannot recommend this game. While Way of the Hunter features some truly beautiful graphics and scenery, the game itself feels unpolished and incredibly frustrating to play. It is packed with numerous paid DLCs, which feels off when the base game itself is in such a neglected state. Technically, it is poorly optimized, leading to performance issues even on capable hardware. On top of that, there are frequent graphical glitches, such as annoying flickering textures that constantly break immersion. However, the biggest issue is the inconsistent core hunting mechanic. You will often find yourself staring at the message: 'Blood clear, animal survived' even after what appears to be a solid shot. The game's hit detection feels unreliable and opaque, making it difficult to understand why a shot that should have been lethal fails to bring the animal down. The game has a steep learning curve combined with this inconsistent feedback, which makes the experience feel more like battling the game's engine rather than enjoying a simulation. It is disappointing to see the developers focus on DLCs and a sequel instead of refining these fundamental issues. Avoid.

Отличная игра! Way of the Hunter здорово передаёт атмосферу охоты: реалистичное поведение животных, продуманная стрельба и поиск, а также приятная система прокачки и снаряжения. Особенно понравилось, как игра заставляет думать и планировать, как подойти, чем прицелиться, и как читать следы. Прохождение ощущается по-настоящему “настоящим” и увлекает надолго. Музыка и визуал тоже на уровне, хочется просто идти по лесу и наблюдать за миром. С удовольствием рекомендую всем, кто любит спокойный, тактический охотничий геймплей

Slower paced solid hunting game.

I would highly recommend this game! It has so many maps to explore, each being pretty large. There are so many different animals to hunt! The maps are very beautiful and fun to explore!

gioco molto bello però porco dio quando sparo nel capo ad una bestia sudicia deve mori sul colpo madonna maiala, poi certe bestemmie con sti animali luridi non ti puoi avvicinà che scappano come gazzelle matte e scalcianti. All'inizio per giocà con gli amici devi trucidare un cervo e sta cosa mi fa incazza perché io devo fa per forza come mi pare a me dio merda. Un punto a favore è che puoi sparare alle bestie pidocchiose anche a più di 800 metri e mi diverte assai farle soffrire a morte sparandoli in pancia e vederle traballanti prima di cedere in terra come un sacco di patate. Una cosa che mi fa incazza è che quanto salti hai un 20% di probabilità di decedere di infarto senza un motivazione logica apparente. Un'altra cosa che mi fa ribollire il sangue è che non puoi scendere da un macchina se essa non è ferma e siccome io gioco in multiplayer spesso salgo in macchina con gente a caso e ovviamente questi coglioni continuano a girare per tutta la mappa come africani in cerca di cibo. L'ultima cosa che mi fa venire voglia di assalire una felice famiglia di gatti asiatici è che quando compri gli strumenti per richiamare le bestie prima di poter richiamare tutti gli animali che sono elencati nella porco dio di descrizione dell'aggeggio devi fare delle missioni merdose rompicoglioni madonna lucertola. Poi le torri portatili so tutte storte e smonche dio merda. Tutto sommato un bel gioco però
