Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 7.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love puzzle games but this is terrible. Hundreds of repetitive maze puzzles and a lot of walking in between then to pad the time. There's like 10 times too many puzzles than it should be. 7 mazes displayed on some stand? Well okay, done. The cable lights up and enables a few more mazes on another stand. What will it be now? Oh they are the same type again... You will be doing this dozens of times for every maze type. There's also bullshit like puzzle turning itself off after a wrong attempt to waste your time. There's "environmental" puzzles where if you stand in a specific place, like merging two rocks into one, you can make a maze out of scenery but it's one of those ideas that sounds good on paper but in practice you can never be sure if player will ever stand in the right place to be able to see them. Sometimes I suspected something is there but when I wanted to activate it it wouldn't work because I didn't stand in the exact place dev wanted even thought it looked fine for me and took a few times to make it work. No explanation and having to figure out the rules of puzzles on your own is bad design. The difficulty should come from the puzzle itself, not from having to read the mind of the creator and guess what did he mean by this. Sometimes there are hints but they are in another area just to pad the playtime. It also causes an issue that when you don't know how to solve something, you don't know if you're just not thinking hard enough or if you should go somewhere else and maybe you will find some hint. Maybe you've already seen it or maybe there's no hint so if you go somewhere you will just waste time. Terrible design. Because the puzzles just aren't fun and they are interrupted by walking if you don't have a maze fetish there's nothing to keep you playing. There is no story, no characters, no lore. If the game wasn't a walking sim and just a game with level select instead then you could at least have some sense of completion. The way it is you don't know which puzzle brings you to the ending and which is just filler. The game insists upon itself. You can find some voice recorders with quotes of Einstein and others. Cringe. I paid $4 for it and I feel ripped off. Jon Blow has never made a good game. At least this game doesn't look like diarrhea like braid. It's a shame reviewers will always give his slop good reviews because they are afraid if they don't like a pretentious puzzle game people will say they are stupid. Because of good reviews he thinks "500 mazes the game" was good and now is making "1000 sokobans the game". Yawn.

风景非常优美的解谜游戏,难题难度设计得也比较循序渐进
神作!
One of my favourite puzzle games that actually has replayibility as after a few years, I played this game again and due to the way that the puzzles are designed, it's almost impossible to remember what the answers are so you have to solve the puzzle again. If you like puzzle games, please give this game a try.
I found the puzzles to be mostly just frustrating with a large element of brute forcing
Загадки разные, но сделанные полностью на одной идее - проведи линию от A до B. После пары часов уже скучно стало, а после 4.5 и вовсе отпало желание играть. И музыка, и внешний вид игры приятные.
Veramente geniale.
Polished and rock solid
fun
All the puzzles in [The Witness] are reasonable. They don't require you to do anything random; they don't require guessing. They don't require trial and error. The solutions tend to be simple and natural. They flow directly from the rules of gameplay in each world. If you are having problems solving a puzzle, don't give up! Some of the puzzles will be hard. But when you manage to solve those hard puzzles, you will feel very good about it. The game will feel very rewarding. Don't rob yourself of that feeling by reading a walkthrough! Please do not use a walkthrough. [The Witness] does not have a linear story the way most games do, so Getting To The End is not necessarily what you would expect. The idea of "beating the game" does not apply so much, here. [The Witness] is about the journey, not the destination. If you use a walkthrough to bypass some of the puzzles, you will be robbing yourself of that journey. Don't give up. All the puzzles can be solved. Some of them might take an hour or two, but you will get it. If you try. And you will feel cool and smart. If you read a walkthrough (or get spoilers from a forum), you can never un-read it. You can never un-spoiler yourself! So don't spoiler yourself. Thank you for your time. (Adapted from Jon Blow's official Braid "walkthrough" accessed via WayBack Machine)
