Adorable forest puzzler where you herd magical creatures through a hand-painted world. Wholesome enough to make you briefly reconsider your life choices, long enough to make you briefly reconsider your free time choices. Backtracking overstays its welcome, like that one ticket that keeps getting reopened. Imperfect but genuinely lovely, the kind of game you finish with a smile, then immediately forget exists. Worth your time if you can stomach some tedious backtracking and a story that lands softer than it promises.
The Wild at Heart is extremely charming, with beautiful hand-drawn graphics and a magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, crafting, and exploration. What I love most is the deep exploration — you often return to old locations with new Spritlings to unlock hidden paths. The puzzles are relaxing and accessible, letting you truly focus on the world and the story. And throwing the little spirits around is just pure fun! I’ve played it many times in both modes and I’m always delighted. Plus, that twist at the end ;) It’s a real gem.
pikmin, but whimsy forest <3
Really great game, you get many many hours out of this so it's well worth the money and I think that it is highly re-playable too.
This was absolutely wonderful!
