About
Step into the shoes of a private detective sent to investigate a family's mysterious disappearance in 1993, Northern Maine. Uncover evidence, document your findings, and face the creeping horror hidden within the abandoned Wellmont farm.
The Wellmonts Case is a psychological horror in the genre of "walking simulator".
When the world itself turns against you.
Perception falters as the environment distorts and logic begins to collapse. Details no longer add up, time slips between moments, and you begin to question if any of this is real.
Not everything you hear is in your head.
Darkness deepens, sounds grow sharper, and something unseen begins to close in. The house itself starts to feel alive, reacting to every breath and every step.
Every answer unlocks a darker question.
Interact with notes, locks, and clues to progress and piece together the case. What seems like evidence soon raises suspicion, and even the simplest objects begin to feel intentionally placed.
Uncover what was left behind.
Step carefully through silent rooms, untouched belongings and forgotten memories. Every corner holds a trace of the family’s life and offers a glimpse into what might have ended it.

This short psychological horror nails the creepy atmosphere and sound design perfectly. Exploring the abandoned 1993 farm as a private detective feels tense and immersive the whole way through. The story kept me guessing, and even though it's mostly slow-burn investigation, the jump scares still got me a couple of times. For a small indie game it's surprisingly polished – no bugs, great visuals and a story that lingers after you finish. If you like atmospheric horror with a mystery to solve, definitely pick this one up. Recommended!

Also, ich hatte Spaß dabei.
ПАРУ РАЗ ОБКАКАЛСЯ А ТАК НЕ СТРАШНО
Good game! Loved the story. Would like to see a part two maybe? Maybe his partner comes to find him? Would like to know more about the demon/devil that took over Abigail. Thankyou for the achievements. 9/10 on the pear scale.
https://youtu.be/45tg5D9hoNU?si=8sWHcj49aJvA7YIF The Wellmonts Case surprised me honestly. The atmosphere and sound design were insanely good, and it kept me uncomfortable the whole time in the best way possible. I liked that it focused more on mystery and investigation instead of cheap scares every five seconds. Definitely worth playing if you like psychological horror games.
A short but absolutely insane horror game. I’d recommend this to any indie horror fan. 10/10
lovely game, great graphics and interesting plot, although the ending was a little slow and boring at the end though.
I crashed Frank's car and it all went downhill for him from there. :P He's lucky he didn't lose his shoe in a mudpuddle. Squish. Great sound effects and graphics. Engaging story. Straightforward, linear gameplay. Light puzzles, jumpscares, and collectibles. Note to the curious-if an area has a long history of disappearances, put a fence around it and walk away....
